Preliminary autopsy results say 20-day-old Justice Rees, whose tiny body was found Wednesday at a remote slough near Knights Landing, may have drowned or died of hypothermia.
In an interview Thursday, Yolo County Sheriff Ed Prieto said authorities have no evidence the infant was a victim of homicide.

WTH? So the baby was dead in some sort of swampy field but other than that... healthy? My bet is the Mother. (yeah, I know.. duh!)

So do many who are not so young. There are actually a few people who STILL think we elected the right man in 2008 and again in 2012. There are an amazing number who think that the nation reached its zenith under Slick Willy.

there is a nice local shelter that I have sent plenty of dogs to with my $50 donation. But I’m getting tired of trying to capture them, house/feed then for a few days and hope the shelter is not full.
Not a murder because so many 10 day old babies get behind the wheel and drive themselves to water holes. Smells like another Susan Smith.
I watched an old episode of Law and Order SVU last night about a woman who left a baby to die on the sidewalk. The cops were naturally pissed off. But one of them told the girl “I know you have a choice and all that, but why didn’t you drop the baby off at a fire station or hospital?” In other words, if she had aborted it that would have been okay. My wife said “So how old does the baby in the womb have to be to get the cop pissed if someone aborts it?”

No evidence of homicide? Pray tell how a 20-DAY-old human can transport himself to a "remote slough" -- without being transported there by an older, more mobile being.
You’re too logically analytical.
Just go with the flow and agree that there was no proven homicide committed.
