Gee, what a surprise. And here I thought the Democrats were just showing more concern for the “little people,” like the ones they kept poor and in tenements for over 40 years. The New Deal, the Great Society, and now Unconditional Amnesty. What thoughtful people those Dems are.

Only question is when our supposed rino-goper leadership will cave.
How long will they do kabuki before appearing to give up. it’s’the plan all along.

Have you ever seen a Brazilian city? The inner core is where the oligarchs live and it is nice very nice. That inner core is surrounded by the favella. A mass of humanity living hand to mouth in corrugated tin huts. This is what our betters want. NO MIDDLE CLASS AT ALL

Given the federal governments constitutionally limited powers, it is the constitutionally powerful states, not the constitutionally humbled federal government, who is supposed to control the country.

Oligarchs NEED ghettos...
Where else are they going to get their servants, gardeners, drug suppliers and sex workers?

That inner core is surrounded by the favella. A few years back we did a day tour of a beautiful national park near Rio.IIRC it was called Tejuca National Park. The trip involved a drive up a pretty steep hillside which overlooked another hillside (Rio is very hilly). As we're climbing the tour guide pointed out a huge, and famous, favela on that other hillside (can't recall he name). She said it was so violent that the Brazilian *Army* dared not try to enter it durng *daylight*!

I told students this in Spanish class from 2003 to 2009. I told them this exact thing. No one supported me and no one kept administrators from attacking me for saying it. I told a group of Freepers in Austin, TX that immigration was THE issue and Jim Robinson was present when I said it.
People get the kind of government they deserve, my dad said. He was right.

Did you vote in 2008 and in 2012 for the Republican nominee, or did you sit on your butt, or voted for some third party candidate because you did not like our nominee. If so you are part of the problem
