Sad and disappointing but not a surprise. Sen. Mitch McConnell has showed himself to be the gutless wimp that we’ve all known he is. He has given the Democrats exactly what they have been demanding. In other words, Sen. Mitch McConnell, as majority leader, has shown the same feckless, flaccidity that he showed while minority leader. What he’s done is pass the buck back to the House:
This is a shame. The issue is not only important but it is an easy win. It is the Democrats and the White House that need DHS funded. The GOP doesn’t. Something like 83% of that agency will remain on the job as they are “essential” employees. Not that it matters. Enforcing immigration and naturalization policy isn’t what the are about. They are more busy writing reports on the scourge of “sovereign citizen extremists” than actually doing something useful.
Now the action moves back to the House. Speaker Boehner should stick to his guns and takes as his motto General Grant’s statement during the Overland Campaign: “I propose to fight it out on this line, if it takes all summer.”

Do you not understand that Bush is a rabid Statist? He is for 100% Amnesty for any and all third world criminals (illegal border crossings) that can get here. The United StatAmerican culture will be destroyedes as it existed for over 200 years has been an English speaking, free-market oriented society. All of that will be utterly destroyed by the invasion of anti-English, anti-American invaders -- welcomed by the likes of ole Jebbie.

Mitch McConnell needs to be ousted from his position as Senate Leader. Screw the parliamentary procedure and rules — there needs to be some sort of revolt to throw this bum out of that chair.

Voting for Pubs just because the Pubs are better than a Rat got McConnell re-elected and in charge of the Senate. So now we have a majority leader getting rolled by the minority leader. McConnell made it clear in his campaign that he doesn't like conservatives and now we see the results.
The Pubs don't represent me on anything that matters. The only people that fight for me are the small number of conservatives in the Senate and House. I will vote for them. I will contribute to them. I will not go to the polls for the rinos.
In the end the Pubs will either become conservative, or accept the status of a minority party.
