If I understand correctly, the DHS funding bill will be broken out and the repeal of funding for Obama’s illegal amnesty program will be voted on first in another bill.
This way the rats go on record on amnesty before the funding bill is taken up.
I don’t think that is caving. Actually it is a pretty good move, the only one the republicans have. Yes, I know, aside from doing nothing, DHS doesn’t get funded, 18% are furloughed and the republicans get the blame, while the truth is, everything will run as normal.
I don’t understand the cheap labor argument when the same Chamber of Crony Capitalism supports minimum wage increases.

If funding Obama’s Executive Action on immigration is stripped from the bill happens, why is that bad?
If the immigration funding is a separate bill the debate will separate the sheep from the goats - and it will be a matter of record.

Third party is the only option for conservatives IMO. The GOP is totally corrupt and wouldn’t even tolerate the constructive efforts of the Tea Party to reform it. I like and admire Ted Cruz but he is delusional if he thinks he has a future in this lame excuse for a political party.
That is flat out incorrect! Knowing how to do the right thing and being willing to go there are two completely separate things. He damn sure knows how.
