Israel rips U.S. deal with 'messianic, apocalyptic' Iran
WND ^ | February 23, 2015 | Unattributed

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

The emerging U.S.-led deal that would allow Iran to enrich uranium at a limited rate, with the restrictions easing over time, poses a “great danger” to the Western world and Israel from a “messianic, apocalyptic” nation, Israel’s defense minister declared Monday.

Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon made the comments as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, against the wishes of President Obama, prepares for a trip to Washington next week to explain in an address to both houses of Congress why he is against the negotiations.

As WND reported, the prime minister’s aides have claimed Israel was being left out of the information loop regarding the talks. Their claims were supported by a European official who told the New York Times that U.S. negotiator Wendy Sherman warned him not to share information with the Israelis because “the details could be twisted to undermine a deal.” Since then, Obama administration officials have acknowledged the limiting of information-sharing with Israel.

Currently, negotiators are discussing a compromise of allowing 6,500 centrifuges with strict controls in place for 10 years and a gradual lifting over five years, the Associated Press reported.

The easing could bring the number of centrifuges back up to the current 10,000, the news wire reported.

But Israel contends the impending deal leaves the door open for Iran to covertly gain nuclear-weapons capacity, because the final stages of uranium enrichment needed to create fuel for a weapon can be done in small spaces that can be easily hidden.

Yaalon said an agreement of this kind signed between “the West and this messianic, apocalyptic regime” will “allow Iran to turn into a nuclear threshold state and continue its terror actions.”

For sure. The Kenyan needs to be exposed from all angles.

But, is Iran building all these nuclear reactors for the production of cheap electrical energy, to provide for their total energy independence, and to make even more of their natural gas and petroleum available for export? If not, then the only real use for the nuclear enrichment plan is for the production of weapons, meant only to exert “superior force” demands upon their neighbors and business associates.

All new nuclear power generation plants built in the world should be of the thorium-powered molten salt design. Cheaper to set up and run than uranium-powered plants, cannot produce fissile products for weapons production, and very small footprint of radioactive waste, while helping to “burn up” the large stockpiles of “spent” uranium fuel rods. And these plants can be scaled DOWN to operate efficiently, unlike uranium-powered nuclear reactors.

Oh, yeah. No danger of a runaway nuclear meltdown China syndrome, spewing dangerous radioactive material over wide areas.

Is Obama the front line defense for Iran? Sure seems that way.

Just did a quick keyword search for “Mahdi” and found a bunch of articles. This one caught my attention:

Iran: Armageddon at hand, prepare for war

Islamic messiah Mahdi expected to return with Jesus, kill infidels

Iran is again asserting that Armageddon is at hand and that the Islamic regime’s followers, indeed all of Islam, must prepare for a monumental change in the world.

Officials of the Islamic regime last month held their annual conference on the Mahdism Doctrine to prepare for the coming of the last Islamic messiah, the Shiites’ 12th Imam, Mahdi.

Shiites, whose clerics rule Iran with an iron fist, believe that at the end of times, Mahdi, a 9th century prophet, will reappear with Jesus Christ at his side, kill all the infidels and raise the flag of Islam in all four corners of the world, establishing worldwide Islamic governance.

When Iran’s nukes begin to fall on Jerusalem, New York, and Philadelphia, they should be referred to as “Obama Bombs.”

Our C-in-C has all but pitched in to help build them.

A nation that marches through the streets chanting "Death to Israel Death to America".

Let's give them nukes. What could go wrong?

While I certainly agree with the Prime Minister’s main thrust, in my opinion, out of respect for his his millions of Christian supporters, he should watch it with the use of the word “messianic.”

That word is specifically a Jewish and Christian word, not an Islamic one.

Rudy Guliani is taking the lead in all this.
At least he is speaking what many Americans are thinking.

mes·si·an·ic : relating to or having the qualities of a messiah : supporting a social, political, or religious cause or set of beliefs with great enthusiasm and energy

Its use can be more generic and appropriate in some cases.

Iran wants nukes for one reason: to use them.

Iran is ruled by the Twelver sect of Shiite Islam. They believe that only by the deaths of millions upon millions will the scent of so much blood draw the 12th Imam out of the well he climbed into 600 years ago, who upon emerging will lead the way to bring all of humanity to Paradise - effective extinction.

The Twelvers give a rat’s patoot about nuclear energy, or runaway reactors; they only want millions to die so their religious vision will come to fruition. Their deaths and the deaths of their population is to be expected and welcomed as that will help lead the way to the 12th Imam.

And yes, they are effectively insane from a Western point of view, but not from an Islamic point of view.

"Its use can be more generic"

In this case the use of the words messianic and apocalyptic have nothing to do with their actual meaning.

Their use is designed to depict Iran and Iran's leaders as irrational.

Under a Realist or Pragmatic foreign policy, all national leaders are expected/anticipated to act in a way that that benefits the nation.

From a Realist point of view, Iran with a single nuke warhead, or 10 warheads, or even more warheads would not use these against Israel because Israel has hundreds of warheads and the US has over 5000 warheads.

And there is a very similar situation on delivery systems.

So, a rational minded or pragmatic leader of Iran would not even consider attacking Israel or the US because the retaliation would dwarf the attack.

But if you can depict the man to be irrational, messianic, and apocalyptic, it would imply that if he can get his hands on two warheads and two delivery systems, then he would irrationally and immediately attack both the US and Israel.

And this provides the justification for a preemptive attack on Iran.

The Iranian leadership believes that the 12th Imam-Mahdi will come only after the world is thrown into chaos, and if it takes launching a couple of nukes, then so be it. They care not for their own survival.

In my relative ignorance...

my opinion that the huge disruption that would occur if the truth about Obama was released,

would be worth getting rid of him or at least neutering him.
