GENEVA - Talks between the United States and Iran on Tehran's disputed nuclear programme have made "some progress" and managed to "sharpen up some of the tough issues" that need resolving, a senior U.S. administration official said on Monday.
Political directors from Iran and the six major powers have agreed to resume talks next week at a venue to be decided, the official said, speaking after U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif held two-day talks in Geneva.

Netanyahu is speaking to Congress on Tuesday of next week. Where will John Kerry be during the speech? So far the regime has only said he'll be out of town.
If these talks resume during Netanyahu's Washington trip, it will be yet another slap in the face of the Israelis!
Why are we talking to them at all?
Just tell them to give up their nuke ambitions — or else.
If they demur, then plaster them.
Iran remains a key part of the axis of evil. There are few if any places on earth more deserving of a nuclear strike by the forces of civilization.
” Iran remains a key part of the axis of evil.”
Pound for pound, Iran is the worst!
N O deal!
To me, real progress would be if the talks collapse completely.
Nailed it.
oops, too late now, Iran has the bomb---and there's nothing we can do about it.
-from the Obama-Kerry playbook
I don’t understand the underlying motivation for these negotiations. We are dealing with mass-murdering terrorists who want to nuke the civilized world. Looking for common ground in their quest for weapons of mass destruction doesn’t make as much sense as Obama’s minions seem to think it should.
