In the winter of 2012-13, Barack Obama went to war against the AR-15. Every liberal establishment ally in the country was mobilized to ban the rifle and destroy what they dismissively called “the gun manufacturers' lobby.”
In the end, fewer than 40 senators (in a Democrat-controlled Senate) voted to ban semi-automatics.
So what do you do when even a Democrat-controlled Senate will not support your lunatic agenda? What do you do when your agenda runs contrary to the law and the Constitution?
You just ignore your opposition and go on the offensive, which is exactly what the Obama Administration did within the past week.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is proposing to illegally suppress the AR-15 by banning SS109 and M855 ammunition for that rifle as “armor piercing ammunition” under a 1986 statute banning certain types of ammunition -- a statute which amended the Gun Control Act of 1968.
Rather, this is an illegal attempt to ban or limit AR-15's by banning types of AR-15 ammunition.
If the ATF can get away with illegally banning a popular ammo round (because it can penetrate body armor), how long do you think it will be before it’s banning other popular hunting rounds -- which, by the way, can also penetrate body armor!
Most importantly, however, GOA will be working with Senators to “defund” or overturn this ammunition ban.

Why the sudden interest in banning this? It’s been around for a long time. Body armor has been around for a long time.

Back in the day, President Bush was on a fool’s errand to make big government more compassionate and efficient. Big government, by definition, is arbitrary, intrusive and inefficient.
Sadly, the regulatory state the GOP itself helped create—quite possibly naively and without evil motive—is a weapon easily wielded against Americans. Government is not our friend. It’s force.
So much for writing laws that give the executive branch broad discretion, eh?

Every American should own one of these and have a stockpile of ammo available, and learn how to handle it. Right now ISIS has training camps in America and agents here. We will need these to defend ourselves and our families.
AND that bastard in the White House KNOWS this which is why he is trying to disarm us. That way we will be forced to surrender to Islam or these monsters will be able to get us crucified, get our heads sawn off or be burned alive.
Contacting your reps over this is is find, but, ultimately, the only way it will stop is if he is impeached and tried for treason. If he were white, he would have been impeached long before, but the gutless cowards in Washington are afraid of the “racist” world.

Yeh forget M855 the cops should be more worried about some guy shooting them with a 30-06. That will go through them, their vest and the guy behind them. So now will they try to ban that also? Its a never ending snowball.
Pick up some steel core 7.62x54r, about $100 for 440 rounds in a spam can. There are semi autos that use it, though mostly bolt action Mosins, etc.

if you can get the bullets. Without them, it doesn't matter if you can get primers and reload the brass.
Some times they come with an opener, other wise a large screw driver can punch it. open along the sides, just enuff to peel it back.
