Could the title be amended to include his name?
Can we post again and include his name in the post? I expect that many folks take the weekend off from FR and would miss this sad news and urgent prayer request.
I suggest you repost it, and copy the text from his post on the gardening thread as the article body, so people know what it’s about. Then you can ask the mods to lock or delete this thread.

Floral. I hope you are recovered from your hospital stay. Check the recent garden threads. Johnny is a walking medical miracle. Prayers work and we need to continue lifting each other up in prayer.
Today, I went shopping by/for myself with my brother driving. That was very good. Not only did I get the right stuff, I got to surprise my brother at how well I was doing.

When I had the slip/fall back in 2009 and had to learn to walk again, and gain weight back from mid-90 lbs, I figured everything from there was gravy.
How little I knew. I read Job about 56 times in early 2010 as I recovered. I may need to re-read that book.

The Book of Job certainly puts things into perspective. I wasn’t implying that God is keeping you around to do the “Oh no, Mr. Bill” abuse stuff. “Oh no, Mr. Johnny Random”...NO. I think that He is keeping you around because perhaps there is a young person that you are to witness to, that there are grandbabies that need further instruction, that you are going to tell us what a subdued Bible is, or something. He has had opportunity to take you home but you are stuck with us for a little while longer.
