From the article:
"various UN proposals have demanded tens of trillions of dollars as climate reparations."
And the Obama Administration has agreed to this.

Shouldn’t it be 1752 when the calendar changed instead of 1750?

Just like any other international agreement, (ie. Kyoto) doesn't the U.S. Senate have to ratify the agreement?
I don't see Obama getting a gazillion dollars out of the Republican controlled Congress.

Try it and die.

The USA did not even EXIST in 1750. Send the bills to the United Kingdom! /s;)

In 1945 the UN probably sounded like a good idea to some people.
But then at one time so did Prohibition, the War On Poverty, the EPA, and the Patriot Act.
To some people.

Like the Cochabamba Statement, the UNs latest negotiating text states (repeatedly) that the new global decarbonization program will be carried out in accordance with common but differentiated responsibilities and respective capabilities. To be headed up by Pol Pot.

What about China and Russia? They’re a lot harder on the environment than the US ever was.
