"Saving Christmas," in which Kirk Cameron tries to convince his brother-in-law about the Christian meaning of the holiday, will win four of its six nominations: Worst Picture, Worst Actor (Cameron), Worst Screenplay, and Worst Screen Combo (Cameron and his ego).
But "Transformers" is expected to win twice: Worst Director (Michael Bay) and Worst Remake, Ripoff or Sequel. That would bring the franchise to a total of five Razzies, after the three awards won by "Revenge of the Fallen" in 2009, including Worst Picture.
Former "Transformers" star Megan Fox, who previously earned a Worst Actress bid for "Revenge of the Fallen," is favored to win her first Razzie, as Worst Supporting Actress in the Michael Bay-produced "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."
Worst Supporting Actor will go to Mel Gibson, one of three nominees in that category from "Expendables 3." It would be the first Razzie for the embattled actor.
What they disapprove of is an actor that puts his faith above his craft. Cameron is a Christian who won’t do the typical Hollywood sleaze.
His movie “Fireproof” was a big hit with Christians.
Personally, I like nearly all of the Kendrick brother productions.
I suspect the Razzies went after this movie when Kirk Cameron went on a PR/social media blitz to try to improve the online ratings of the movie. It backfired on him, and he managed to turn bad ratings into the worst online ratings for any movie ever.
Let’s be perfectly honest, most Christian film productions are of very poor quality. This includes the junk put forward by Kirk Cameron. That’s not the say the Razzie’s aren’t targeting his production because he’s a Christian. But let’s not pretend that Cameron’s hokey film was any good.

A film has to be really bad to not even be listed or downloadable on the pirate movie sites !
So it’s in the same category as 95% of the movies that come out every year.
I disagree. Loved Courageous and Fireproof. Of course I don’t see many Hollywood movies so my points of reference are quite limited.

Have you seen “Monumental”? I loved it. Another favorite is “What If”.
If it’s a good story and enjoyable who cares about artsy-fartsy?

I have not heard of this one but do know Kirk Cameron is a Christian and does play in all the LEFT BEHIND MOVIES..All Christian movies..I think anyone would enjoy the movies Kirk is in.you can see some of the left behind movies on NET flix...
Left Behind is the story about mankind’s last days on Earth and what causes it’s destruction. Delicately touching upon biblical verses of Earth’s final days, Left Behind takes us through a journey of those left behind after many people have disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Amoung the cast is Kirk Cameron who plays Buck Williams, a journalist witnessing first hand these odd days and doubting with everyone else that they are happening.
Sex, drugs and sleaze have nothing to do with it. We can objectively look at the writing, acting and production value of a film. Most of Cameron’s films are of very poor quality. Even the message in this one was stupid. Christmas is the most overrated non-biblical holy day out there.
The story is the way the story is told.
Well most of the criticism it doesn’t have those factors either. The story is apparently mostly lecturing bordering on hectoring, it’s not terribly fun, and is filmed like a low budget commercial.
Whatever floats your boat.
Like I said if it’s an enjoyable story who cares if it lacks Sodom of the west’s artsy-fartsy touch?
