Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz calls out Giuliani for 'offensive' Obama comments
CNN Money ^

The Starbucks (SBUX) CEO called out former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani for questioning President Obama's "love" for his country.

"As an American, I find Rudy Giuliani's vicious comments about President Obama 'not loving America' to be profoundly offensive to both the President and the Office," Schultz said in a statement.

Giuliani caused a political stir this week with his remarks about Obama at a dinner event featuring Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, in a speech first reported by Politico. He said he didn't believe Obama "loves America."

Contrary to what liberals think conservatives do have the right to their own opinions.

Was the CEO of Starburnts “outraged” when the left routinely said the most vile things about the last president, things so vile that compared to them Giuliani’s comments pale in comparison?

Crickets.

I’ve already given up Starbucks. I also talked somebody in Costco into buying a different brand. I’ve done my bit.

Liberals have a deep need to announce to The world whenever they are offended by something. There’s no reason to do that except to try to win over weak people to their opinion.

Many weak Americans (but I repeat myself) prefer it this way. Just communicate to them what to think and they’re good. And the bonus is that he’s not flat out “telling” anyone what to think. He’s just laid the hint. LIVs pick it up and go.

starbucks should just focus on coffee.

their food is just vending machine level junk. Their “baristas” just open the plastic package pop it in a paper sleeve and pretend it is fresh.

The aroma wafting from those places reminds me of when I was a kid and we’d put car batteries on the charger, and get whiffs of the battery acid.

CEO Howard Schultz is a leftist POS, who essentially ordered his employees to donate to Obama both times. Another left wing billionaire....My! How strange!

I never had it, but I’m guessing there’s a lot of FReepers who are hooked.

I buy about three a year from them. Screw 'em. I'll save that money and visit the cigar store a few doors down to spend my saved money.

If he loved America why would he have friends like Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright, Farrakhan, and others and marry a woman who was proud of America for the first time when Obama was campaigning. Why would he go play golf when Americans are being beheaded by our enemies.

Obama’s own words:
In “Audacity of Hope” Obama writes: “I will stand with the them (Muslims) should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” The quote comes from page 261 of the paperback edition of “The Audacity of Hope.
