"You have no clue what you're going on about. "

I would put my National Security Credentials AND EXPERIENCE up against anyone on this forum.

When you've been around long enough to understand our Security Debate parameters...when you can actually fit in with the big boys...get back to me.

Until then I'll just see you as another stupid newbie.

And you are a stupid newbie.

So that's why you're arguing that we should behave like Russians? What else does "strategic CULTURAL" objectives mean except to say "we shouldn't mess with the Russkies, and should invade countries where ethnic Americans are living in" LOL.

We have a Strategic Cultural interest in preserving and protecting Anglo-Saxon and Western Civilization.

Lest we someday find ourselves alone in the world.

After all, most of the liberty and beauty in the world sprung from them,.

But I contend, while existential war is warranted to protect Vienna, Prague, Berlin, Paris and London, that warrant DOES NOT extend to Kiev and Sevastopol.

Certainly there is not sufficient commercial interest either.

This is a common mistake by the do-gooders. They think we can solve the worlds great problems...or bring comfort to those in misery...because it's the right thing to do.

But the adult players in the world...some our opposition...know that we will NOT fight where we do not have an interest. Even if we start out fighting.

Case in point:

Afghanistan after the Taliban were initially routed.

Yet some would risk nuclear war over Ukraine, where we have no interest whatsoever.

And where Russia has legitimate geopolitical and Strategic Cultural interests...interests that will cause them to use all power at their disposal to defend.

A Question to Ponder: Why did the USA not intervene in Hungary in 1956 or Czechoslovakia in 1968? We were FAR superior to the Soviets militarily...especially in 1956.

Bad news for our NATO allies the Baltics, who are all feeling the heat of Russia's breath on their necks.

This is straight out Putin bootlicking. You are basically telling all of the former Soviet-bloc states that Russia has a right to enslave them. Such an attitude will certainly lead to world war 3. But, fortunately, leaders like Ted Cruz and actual "adults" in our movement do not share your silly views.

You are showing your complete lack of knowledge again. Your passions own you.

Same for Ted Cruz. He's wrong on Ukraine and you will find as time moves on HIS position with align with mine and leave you blathering in the corner.

Because he can afford experts to advise him. People who actually KNOW something.

I'll come back here and remind you.

I have a feeling that your time on FR, once the campaign kicks off with Cruz, is going to be very short.

Ted Cruz and John McCain do share your position.

Do you also believe we have a Treaty obligation we need to honor?
