Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is dismissing "elitist" critics who say his lack of a college degree could work against him should he run for president.
Last week, former Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean brought up Walker's lack of education, saying, The issue is, how well educated is this guy?
"I worry about people being president of the United States not knowing much about the world and not knowing much about science," Dean said on MSNBC. "I worry about that."

It is apparent that Dean is more political now and much less of a doctor or a scientist. Because he wouldn’t have made such a stupid statement if he truly knew what he was saying.
Love My Gov! BUMP
Also don't forget Rick Perry, Tim Pawlenty, and Paul Ryan.
Perry intended to go the Vet school, Pawlenty to dental school, and Ryan to Med school.
All three had problems in their science courses(Organic Chemistry probably), had to change their major, which led them into a career in politics.
Just look at what all those people in government WITH COLLEGE DEGREES have done...............................
Without TOTUS...........................
He needs to speak this ONE TRUTH loudly and often: There is such a thing as too much education.
US Presidents who did not finish college:
1. George Washingon
2. William Henry Harrison
3. James Monroe
4. Andrew Jackson
5. Martin Van Buren
6. Zachary Taylor
7. Millard Fillmore
8. Abraham Lincoln
9. Andrew Johnson
10. Grover Cleveland
11. Harry Truman
(in no particular order)
I don’t think there is a causal relationship between college degrees and bad governance. I will say that most involved in government and politics today are credentialed out the yin-yang, claim these credentials equal wisdom and expertise, and are taking the country in a bad direction.
Tell me, in one sentence, how Barry Soetoro got elected president.
I’d love to hear Scott Walker get Obama to open up details of Obama’s college education.
I’ll have a go
The left wing establishment used deceit to convince the foolish, ignorant, and greedy to vote for him.
Most of FDR’s problems when trying to bring the US out of the depression stemmed from him hiring only elite college grads with no real life experience. They were “smart” but also “dumb” and “arrogant”.
I observe that a majority of those voters did NOT have a college education.
Nasty socialist politicians (and the creeps they appoint) aren't the problem. They're a symptom. The problem is "We, the People". "We" vote for these bastards. "We" get what we asked for.
Some sources claim that James Monroe graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1776, but others state that he dropped out in 1775 to participate in the Revolution. In any case, Monroe later studied law (the phrase used then and now in Virginia is “read the law”) under his mentor Thomas Jefferson, passed the Virginia bar exam, and practiced law in Fredericksburg, VA while serving in Congress. Maybe some knowledgeable historian on FR can give us a definitive answer on Monroe’s degree status. He was, though, a very educated man for the times.
IMHO, a combination of stupid, dependent voters, people who chose to stay at home, and fraud.
How many “science” courses did the Obamassiah take when getting his law degree?
How many “law” courses did he take when getting
his law degree?
