Yesterday, appearing with Wolf Blitzer, she compounded her gaffe of Monday, suggesting that jobs programs would be the solution to the threat posed by ISIS. Someone on a previous FR thread suggested midnight basketball as another possibility for the troubled young men of ISIS. If we all put our heads together, I think it’s possible to come up with positive, pro-active, non-violent solutions. (Did I get the buzz words right?)

My approach for a Harf: Start up MacDonalds franchises in the Middle East.
You are looking at the highly educated, err, I mean indoctrinated, product of the left. Barf has a BA in PolySci from Indiana and a MA in Foreign Affairs from UVA. Combine those fine academic credentials with an adult lifetime of social media, and this is exactly what you get. The inability to think beyond 140 characters is very crippling to the mind.
Well there is a bit of truth to it. In the post Ottoman and post colonial period, the Arab states especially Egypt and non Arab Turkey embraced Euro type socialism combined with a backward poorly educated social infrastructure as their model. There has been virtually no economic progress in over one hundred years. The “wealth” of the oil rich regions masquerades as progress and stability. The masses remain , backward, poorly educated and very susceptible to fundamentalism. As Obama quipped they cling to their guns and religion. The region would be far better off if they had followed the wide open productive capitalist example of Hong Kong rather than mimicking the socialism of Europe. Instead they have widespread rural poverty and ignorance with a few areas of urban privilege.

It goes to Sec. of State John ("I served in Viet Nam") Kerry and Hillary ("What difference does it make?") Clinton and even above that to Barack ("We're not a Christian Nation") Obama!

Thank you. We do, too. We are in the control of Leftist judges who allow their politics to subvert our Laws. And the millions of people who aren’t citizens but vote......always Democrat. We pray we survive this. Sadly, it may take us decades to restore our country to it’s former greatness.
