Yet there are people who have died of AIDS, despite a “clean” lifestyle as a result of contracting the HIV virus from a blood transfusion or pooled platelets.

Including hemophiliac children who were clearly not living a debauched lifestyle.

Give me a reference. I'll be glad to check it out. Anxious in fact. Blood transfusions can kill. No doubt. Proving that HIV was the cause would, in fact, be impossible.

Give me a reference.

I think we have an apples and oranges situation here. Yes, transfusions can, I assume, transfer an HIV infection from donor to recipient. The question on the table is: So what? Does that cause you to die of AIDS?

The answer is no. Despite what you read the HIV and AIDS connection is unproven. AIDS, as defined as a collection of immune system related diseases is real. HIV is real. It is the relationship that is unproven to this day.

Ask yourself why prostitutes don’t get AIDS but drug users and homosexuals do.

Look for the medical journal article that proves the relationship between AIDS and HIV. You won’t find it. It is assumed to be true. Just like Global Warming and Man Made Climate Change.

You have to look deeper than Wikipedia. But you could start your search in the Wikipedia references looking for that fundamental relationship article. Remember though that the “proof” has to go back as far as 1984 or so. That’s when this all started.

Show me the person with AIDS who doesn’t have an HIV infection.

Exceptions: SCID kids, persons who were highly exposed to ionizing radiation, people whose immune systems were destroyed by chemical exposure.

HIV is a necessary (but perhaps insufficient) component of AIDS.

Lots of people have latent TB infections, they may live their lives without a full blown case of TB, but stresses can unleash the Mycobacterium tuberculosis already present.

Would you argue that mycobacterium tuberculosis doesn’t cause TB? The same reasoning applys.

With the amount of sex workers Cuba has, this does not surprise me.

Most housewives whore themselves out (with approval of the husbands). Everyone needs money to live on.

It’s sad.

Yes.

The number of persons reported with AIDS who were exposed through blood transfusions was 284 in 2000, down from a peak of 1098 in 1993.

Source: Reported by: Surveillance Br, Div of HIV/AIDS Prevention, National Center for HIV, STD, and TB Prevention, CDC.

In December 1982, a 20-month old child who previously received multiple transfusions of blood died from infections related to this newly identified disease, AIDS.

Source: History of HIV/AIDS in the U.S.

Doubtless this kid lived a life of IV drug abuse, amyl nitrate, and anal sex, no?

There are none. You are right about that.

But note that by DEFINITION death by any AIDS symptom or AIDS defined disease is not AIDS unless the victim tests positive for HIV. Otherwise it’s not AIDS. Look it up.

Maybe this is the reason WHY Obama wants to open up the doors to Cuba.

Just another way to wreck the U.S.

It takes a long time for someone to actually show symptoms or be a suspect for HIV infection, in fact, people are asymptomatic usually for years. Combine that and the massive networking among those who spread the disease, and it’s hard to track down every infectee, even if you figure out who has it by a test.

Homosexual male behavior can cause bleeding, causing an exchange of blood, and possibly HIV among other blood-borne diseases.

Homosexual male behavior can cause bleeding, causing an exchange of blood, and possibly HIV among other blood-borne diseases.

Just for the record: I don't believe HIV causes AIDS.

But to your point. It is correct that infections of any type are transmitted quite efficiently by anal sex.

But this effect is not just due to the common occurrence of bleeding in one or both partners. It is simply the nature of the act. The human body offers very little protection from infection with this sort of activity. On the other hand there are natural mechanisms working against infection within the female that do offer such protection.

The result of this is that homosexuals tend to pass infections around like M&M candy simply due to the way they conduct sex. These infections slowly but surely wear down their immune system. Much faster than you and I and normal heterosexual couples.

Then toss in the second most popular activity of the average homosexual, drugs, particularly poppers, and you get another agent attacking their immune system. Slowly but surely they wear out their ability to fight off infections.

And then they die. If they test positive for HIV they have died of AIDS. If not, then they didn't.

No kidding, the fact that there’s a meth problem among homosexual men only means that such substances do a real number on your immune system, along with the other factors. The immune system is effected by nutrition, sleep, substances, concurrent illness (many people in the third world have an immune system compromised by Malaria)

Those tourists who travel to Cuba looking for cheap run and sex are aiding and abetting the most brutal murderous regime in the history of this hemisphere, but in that exchange they might get in return more than they bargained for.

A new HIV strain in some patients in Cuba appears to be much more aggressive and can develop into AIDS within three years of infection. Researchers said the progression happens so fast that treatment with antiretroviral drugs may come too late. Without treatment, HIV infection usually takes 5 to 10 years to turn into AIDS, according to Anne-Mieke Vandamme, a medical professor at Belgium's University of Leuvan. According to the study, published in the journal EBioMedicine, Vandamme was alerted to the new aggressive strain of HIV by Cuban health officials who wanted to find out what was happening.

Before Castro, Cuban did not need visa to visit U.S. or establishing residence in this country. Cubans did not need before the triumph of the Cuban communist revolution to cross in make shift rafts the Florida Straits where 4 for every 5 Cubans lost their lives in their pursuit of freedom, they came by plane or ferry as tourists and students. There were not Cuban dreamers in quest of the American opportunities. In fact, before Castro, there were more Americans living in Cuba than Cuban living in United States. The living standard in Cuba in the 1950’s was second only to the United States.

About the much maligned portray of Cuba as an American playground and mafia enclave, it must noted that in Cuba before Castro, the mafiosi that created Las Vegas’ emporium, had only three casinos in Havana and the yearly income of those casinos together were less than the income of any single Las Vegas casinos in a week.

Before Castro an average of 200,000 American tourists visited Cuba, in 2014, it was over 650,000. But together with Americans, came also thousands of tourists from Europe and Latin American including many looking for sex with children. Now Cuba is now a Mecca for the most depraved pedophiles and pederasts that go there looking for sexual exploitation of children. In fact Havana is second only Bangkok in that abominable crime.

By 1995 the Italian travel magazine Viaggiare recognized Cuba as the “paradise of sexual tourism,” awarding it five stars for its “general erotic level.” According to the magazine, Cuba beat out such competitors as Brazil and Thailand. (Adams, p. 1A; Dalia Acosta, Culture Tourism: Cuba Brushes up its Tourist Image, Interpress Service, Sept. 19, 1997. Lexis-Nexis).

Those tourists who travel looking for unending bacchanals are aiding and abetting the most brutal murderous regime in the history of this hemisphere

Renowned English historian, Hugh Thomas, who wrote an scholar “History of Cuba, The Pursuit of Freedom” from the Discovery to the beginning of Castro’s revolution, referring to Castro’s Cuba affirmed in The Spectator (7/12/1986): “The comparison must be with the account of Nazi concentration camps. Although there as yet no gas chambers in Cuba, there have been experiments of a criminal biological type designed to see how far an individual can survive starvation, beating, solitary confinement, and many various kinds of ill treatment. Valladares’ account of working in a stone quarry is not dissimilar to, and no more humane than, the many accounts extant of ‘life’ in Manthausen.”

I've been to Brazil and Thailand. Beating out the sex industries of both these countries is quite the achievement. It is pervasive and filthy.
