All of these folks are smart and probably Type A personalities.

Well, we'll have to disagree because if they are so smart we wouldn't be in such trouble and they're not immune to failure... What they DO have is millions of sycophants who hang on their every word and give them lots of cover when they screw up, which is quite often.

Maybe they are smart, but only smart enough to get themselves--and the rest of us--in trouble.

That more people do not see this is indicative of world wide intelligence--or lack of it--in general.

We’re all getting damn sick of it. It’s Winter in Maine, but the standing snow is an honest 4 ft deep (and it’s packed itself down some) and cold cold cold.

Everyone here has dark humor about the weather. Snowplows and other machines breaking down, no place to put the snow, town budgets and public works tattered.

An alleged additional foot for today was predicted, but what do they know? I predict it won’t happen. 14 degrees outside right now and -3 overnight with high winds, windchill to 20 below.

Of course I tell them it’s global warming. One guy said “Well, somewhere” I said, “Where? They have record ice formation at both poles” He’s obviously a coolaid drinker. I told him it’s a massive hoax to separate you from your money.

I'm watching a series on TV called the Brotherhood.Aired years ago.It's all about corruption in Rhode Island. Very revealing about how local,state, govt. Can work.
In short, we need more people like you and fewer Boehners and McConnels in the higher reaches of government.

No, it's like my fenders continue right down to the ground.

I just have a couple of inches of suspension travel. The ice is built up behind the tires and onto the rocker panels and under the lower quarter panels.

They need to spend the night in a heated garage.

Well, he probably is famous. They seem to have made no mention of competent, or knowledgeable. As far as having value, it's like jingle writers who spent years selling you the old stuff now talking and singing about the "new, improved" version.

And nobody wants to admit that Barack Obama as President is objective evidence that Affirmative Action has not worked.

0bama was never a law professor. He was a lecturer covering the 14th Amendment. Nor did he ever write anything for the Harvard Law Review even though he was the editor.

In short, 0bama’s a fraud. Again.

Usually January, and then gets cold again, but not this time. We're hoping this will be the last blast, but I'm not holding my breath.
