I seem to remember there was some wannabe CT cop that told his neighbor he was salivating at the thought of breaking down his door and confiscating his guns. There was the head of the CT State Police bragging how he and his minions intended to enforce the new gun control restrictions enacted in the wake of the Sandy Hook school shootings. Then the cops realized that: 1) most other cops had the newly criminalized guns and 2) those doing the raids were going to get killed by homeowners. Thoughts that horrified even the most thuggish cop — the thoughts of dying and not retiring on a plush pension. Now this Newtown Panel of liberal elites is stirring the pot. Not a good idea, Governor Daniel P. Malloy — unless you want a body count on your resume.
