During a Tunisian TV show on the Paris attacks, politician Neji Djelloul of the Nidaa Tounes Party responded to TV host Miqdad Al-Majeri's mention of "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion," saying that it was "a bunch of anti-Jewish myths."
Following are excerpts from the show, which aired on Zitouna TV on January 12, 2015.
Tunisian TV host Miqdad Al-Majeri: I am not going to talk about Israel or The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, and all the things they say about us not being humans, and all the things they say about us not being humans, and about how killing a dung beetle is worse than killing us.
Neji Djelloul Nidaa of the Tounes Party: That is a lie. The Protocols of the Elders of Zion was written in the court of the Czar. It has nothing to do with the Jews. This is a bunch of anti-Jewish myths
Miqdad Al-Majeri: The Israeli actions prove
Neji Djelloul: The Protocols of the Elders of Zion was not written by any Jewish institution. They were written during the pogroms and persecution of the Jews, in the days of the Czar. Our cultural problem is that we blame everything on the Jews. When a Tunisian goat gets lost in the mountains, we blame it on the Jews. We suffer from a complex about the Jews!

Finally someone says the truth!
Hope ole boy has his frequent flyer miles ready!
Just as with the Nazis, to whom they were allied in WWII, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion is thought of by Muslims as being authentic.
Impressive. This is the first instance I’ve heard of an Arab politician being truthful about the Protocols.

That’s because Tunisians prefer the pretty goats...
Brave guy!
