That gave me chills and I’ve seen the entire series twice.
When Jesse got that psycho Todd I actually cheered.
The writing, cast, and choice of music was superb.

NM list PING!
I may not PING for all New Mexico articles. To see New Mexico articles by topic click here: New Mexico Topics

Not sure if any of the NM FReepers were fans of Breaking Bad or if y’all plan to watch this show, but figured I’d ping just in case.
I heard there was an alternate ending?
my favorite was “face off”
I f*cked Ted.
“Breaking Bad was a dammed TERRIFIC show! (and I hate watching TV lol)”
It was great until it became ridiculous in the last season. For example the gang leader letting WW live after he witnesses the murder of 2 DEA agents, not to mention just walking away with the 90 million untraceable dollars he takes from White. I thought at some point they would get Walt Jr hooked on the blue stuff as sort of cosmic justice but they never did it.
There was a joke ending where Walter woke up in bed with his wife from Malcolm in the Middle. I don’t know if it’s on the series set.
Bob Odenkirk was good in the Fargo TV series as a decent-but-naive sheriff who was shocked by and somewhat in denial about the mayhem in his town.
I am in ABQ as well and the reviews for Better Call Saul have been good.
I will be watching :)
Another piece of recent NM film lore is up for sale. The 2 gun (Schofields) rig worn by Ben Foster in "3:10 to Yuma" is down at Ron Peterson's Guns on Central.
Also, you could see Ron's sign in some of the scenes in BB through the window of a diner (Loyola's which is open for breakfast and lunch, the scenes were at night).
Very cool! I never watched the show, but our son-in-law is a fan & he & our daughter did the drive it yourself tour while they were here over Christmas. He enjoyed it, she not so much! *laughing*
We bought him 2 t-shirts that a crew member was selling from Breaking Bad. They were crew t-shirts & had the season on them & what department they were working in. He loved them & has since framed them so they can hang on the wall in his “man cave”. Evidently he’s the envy of all his friends because he has those.
Would be cool to buy the Ben Foster set up at Ron Peterson’s, but I bet that’s a pretty penny!
The storyline is the best part. After awhile, the whole ‘zombie’ aspect of it sort of goes into the background. It’s the other living people that are what needs to be worried about. The ‘living’ are without a doubt the primary antagonists.
I thought the show sort of went on the decline after Gus was killed off. I believe the writers didn’t quite know what to do after his ‘story arc’(I hate that term) was over.
Actually it’s not so bad. They’re asking $3000, and given that the guns are about $1100 each new, plus a custom rig, the “fame tariff” is probably around $500.
Thanks, I didn’t realize it started tomorrow. Will def record it.
Did you see the Super Bowl commercial with “sorta your pharmacist” Walter White? We laughed our heads off.
That’s not bad at all.
Bob Odenkirk is hilarious.. I have to check this out.
His brother Bill Odenkirk is a writer/producer for the Simpsons and Futurama. I am a big fan of old Simpsons and Futurama.
“The final scene of BB (masterpiece)”
Oh the temptation...must resist clicking video link....
note to self....get off this thread
note to FR readers...hubby and I starting watching this fall; I think we’re in season four...
must go now...temptation to click video link too great.....
That was the point in the series when you realized that humanity was definitely a fallen creation and that there are none righteous.
Every player in that drama was flawed. Really, only Jesse seemed to ever recognize that he needed redemption.
