What does an employer end up paying for an employee to get the $15/hr min wage? Gotta be around $19 an hour, with their “contributions” to payroll taxes.

I didn’t know Mike Barnicle was on MSNBC.

Leftie plageristic dirtbag, where else would he be?

” It was especially apparent when Mika simply flat-out said that the guy was not being straight.”

Mika may have been correct in her assumption. It is San Francisco after all..

The funny part about this is that they were trying to “shame” a businessman for going out of business. So despite what they were *trying* to do, what message does this send to other area businesses?

Go out of business, but don’t say why?

Continue to pay what you cannot afford until you are bankrupt?

I note that the Californians are up to their eyebrows with spin over why what is happening in California isn’t actually happening. Denialism only works until the money runs out.

With book stores, the profit is already razor thin, and raising costs on them simply eliminates the profit.

Which probably explains all the non-book items at the front of most stores, the "educational" toys and puzzes, the calendars, journals, candy, tea and other items used to pad their profits. Not saying I disagree with what they're trying to do, but it explains a lot...

Things are not going well when there are more people on the panel than are watching the show.
