At least Bob gave his arm in defense of our country. I’ve thanked him several times, and I meant it. What has Jebbie or Milt done that comes close to that?

“The unions support amnesty.”

So does the Chamber of Commerce.

Define amnesty because according to Walker’s past statements he supports a “pathway to citizenship”. There already is a pathway to citizenship. It’s called legal immigration.

Until Walker defines “amnesty”, “pathway to citizenship” and “securing the borders” we really have no idea what his policies mean. These terms mean different things to different people.

When asked in an interview if he could envision citizenship after someone has paid fines etc., his reply was “Sure.”

"At least she seems to see into the Bushes."

I heard once she prefers "Bush"...

The Jeb Bush candidacy is a bad joke. He really will be embarrassed.

I know that WI has also joined the lawsuit over Obama’s executive action with amnesty and Walker has stated that he believes that the executive action is not legal and should go through the legislative process. That is not a direct quote. I’d have to look up

link.

That doesn’t mean that he isn’t for amnesty of another type like a pathway to citizenship with in his words “people going to the back of the line” or paying fines etc.

ALL of the candidates will have to define these terms and how they relate to their policies. Immigration is a big issue. They better get it right.

"He is literally NOTHING. If you could find the term “Empty-Suit” in a dictionary, a picture of him would be shown."

There used to be an entry at Wikipedia named R.I.N.O., and under that entry, they showed a picture of Romney (and others). That photo had disappeared by the time of the 2012 campaign.

Milt looks fairly lifelike in post 25, but 27 Romney is a taxidermied Canadian body double named Julian Armstrong.
RIP Jules.

So did Romney. And so did Mad John McLame. And drunken crying John and Mitch the Conservative hater.

Who cares if SWMNBN and another Bush wind up as candidates? Neither one will do anything to change the direction the country is headed.

One box left, just one.

I very much do, and conclude “we” are doing it again. That’s why I believe the outcome will be predictable.

Sorry, Ann - but this obsession with Romney has gone on for too long now. I pretty much love her, but she needs to find a new candidate.

Her version of Romney being conservative is just not rooted in reality.

These complaints about disbanding the Iraqi army are overrated.

I do not believe it is overrated. I was keeping very close tabs on what was happening in Iraq at this time. We attained a victory quickly with very few losses, and after the fighting had mostly ceased, the Former soldiers of Saddam were waiting to see what we would do.

What we did was to inform them that they were fired, we weren't going to give them any money, and they were sh*t out of luck as long as we were there. We compounded the problem by throwing all the Sunni's out of the government just because they had been members of the Bath party, (EVERYONE WAS A MEMBER OF THE BATH PARTY. YOU HAD TO BE.) and told them *they* were sh*t out of luck as long as we were there.

We then told them that their longstanding enemy, and the people whom they had been oppressing for generations, were now going to be in charge of *THEM* and that they could look forward to retaliatory payback from the Shias.

If I were an Iraqi solider, I would have set myself about the task of destroying us, and that is exactly what happened. Attacks started occurring all over Iraq. The Sunnis decided we needed to be killed in any manner possible, and so they set out to do it. Bear in mind, these were all the people who knew where the weapons and explosives were, and we deliberately made them into our enemy.

It was the most bone headed, brain dead, imbecilic idea that anyone could have come up with. In World War II, with the Nazis, who had caused us far more trouble and bloodshed, we didn't do anything so stupid.

We hanged the worst offenders, but we left the rest of them run things, and cautioned them to keep their noses clean.

We kicked a hornet's nest when all we needed to do is make an example out of Saddam and the worst offenders, set up a provisional government that included everyone, sit back and make sure it handled it's business, then get the h3ll out of there.

ISIS wouldn't have been created because the Iraqi Sunnis wouldn't have felt disenfranchised.

You corner a rat, and a rat's gonna fight. Bush and Bremer cornered the Sunnis, and I expected them to do no less than what they did. Anyone should have seen that coming.

Anyone.

We can only hope that this is the last of the Bush dynasty in politics forever. Jeb sounds like Obama.

Never say never...We are not the ones who count the votes...

Ann, go home. You ceased being relevant years ago.
