A San Diego Cub Scout troop got a lesson in human anatomy on a recent outing with their troop leader — and some parents are upset.
Diane and Erik Lekven are outraged that a hike on Jan. 24 ended up at a nude beach.

Too bad no one was hiking from San Francisco. I guess you were trying to tell door gunner he missed a detail. I read his post as S.D=, not S.F.
They were just working on their nature awareness merit badges, that’s all.
I’m a 37-year resident of San Diego, and have seen religion and Scouting take a beating for many years now. Atheists attempting to remove the cross atop the Mt. Soledad War Memorial, Boy Scouts evicted from their meeting site in Balboa Park and homos permitted to be leaders, Christmas on the Prado now called Winter Nights. The Pack Leader knew what he was doing, and I’ll wager he’s a perv. It takes a conscious decision to descend from the state park to Black’s Beach below, hidden by the overhanging cliffs.
Reread the article; the “troop leader” knew EXACTLY where they were going, as he and his family “often” took that trail!
We all went on a hike down stream to a former resort hotel from the 30's where there were some hot springs. We enjoyed the hot springs for awhile and returned to walk back to camp. We noticed several completely naked people in their campsites. This didn't necessarily bother my wife and I but we had six kids with us, three of them not ours. There was no ranger or caretaker to complain to so all we could do was ignore them and continue on to our campsite. But then we saw more and more nude bodies and after approaching a couple near our tents, we discovered that we had camped in the middle of a local nudist club weekend outing. There were probably three dozen nudists in the small campground and we were the only non-nudists there. We decided to make the best of an uncomfortable situation and ended up having an enjoyable time hiking and playing in the river.
Our adult kids still talk about the time we camped with a bunch of nudists when they were younger. No harm, no foul.

A nudist resort here has a boy scout troop (and a girl scout troop). Big deal!!!! Of course, we a naturists...
Pretty funny, however some people definitely need need to be covered up as to not to terrify the kiddies.
It happened in San Diego, home of world famous Black’s Beach, not in San Fagfrisco.

Unless Black’s changed in 10 years, it was a family beach. Yes, naturists do have families.
