Did anyone hear Mark Levin’s show tonight? At the beginning of his show he talked about Scott Walker and played audio of a recent interview he did where he was asked what he would do with the undocumented immigrants that were already here. He immediately started talking about first securing the border and enforcing the law but never answered the question. He made sure he said he didn’t support amnesty and said pretty much what he has been saying. In other words, he support’s a pathway to citizenship for people who have broke our immigration laws. He didn’t answer the question.
Mark said basically how I feel. He likes Walker, he’s been a superb gov but has questions about Walker and immigration. He said it is too soon to be jumping on someone’s bandwagon yet (my words). He said he was going to invite Walker onto his show to discuss. Mark would NOT let him get away with not answering. He would hold his feet to the fire so I hope Walker agrees to do it.
I would like to find a transcript or audio of this interview. I can’t remember who he said the interviewer was but it was a woman. If anyone can come up with a link could you share it with me? Thanks.

That woman is one of the most obnoxious interviewers I have ever had the misery of watching.
Walker never answered the question directly about what he would do with the undocumented immigrants. Her final question to him about football and concussions was particulary nauseating.
Maybe she was hoping she’d be invited to do one of the debates.
Where are you getting the idea that I don’t like Cruz? I never mentioned him. Of course, he is well educated and I agree, brilliant. Getting back to my original claim, so was Obama well educated. He proves my theory that a college education doesn’t necessarily mean much is many cases.
As for the grade school dropout. Abraham Lincoln comes to mind. He had about 18 months of formal education as a child. For the rest, including becoming a lawyer, he was self taught again proving my claim. Self determination, self reliance and commonsense are far greater traits in a leader than formal education. I know of too many stupid college graduates.
Ronald Reagan, the greatest president of my lifetime, graduated from Eureka College in Illinois. Most of the elite intelligentsia consider that not good enough. Sarah Palin’s education is considered not good enough by those same people. However, they are both exceptional leaders that, I’d be willing to bet, had nothing to do with the education they received at those colleges. Leadership isn’t taught in college environments.
So, getting back to my original claim, Scott Walker not finishing college has not diminished him as a leader one iota. And again, I am not endorsing him, just defending him against absolutely unfounded attacks.
I support Palin for President up until the time she says she isn’t running. In the event she doesn’t run, I’m going fishing or playing golf and leave the mess up to the rest of you to sort out.
If you succeed in getting Cruz the nomination, you can count on my vote.

Preach it brother! I have made the same point repeatedly.
Ben Carson should run for the House or Senate, and do some good. Maryland has two Democratic Senators, Mulkowski is up for re-election in 2016. Taking her out would be a huge win. Even running against her would be a huge help to the GOP, far more helpful than a doomed POTUS run.
e-verify. All ready up and paid for. IRS is supposed to do it now. Laws are on the books, hoss. All you got to do is enforce them.

Walkers current record will make Jeb Bush look like a has-been. It’s been a long time since he has been a governor and Walkers success is NOW.
No, governor vs senator for president is not overrated.
You say there were bad presidents who were governors just as there were bad ones who were senators.
But that is just a meaningless mathematical statement.
Out of 44 presidents, you can count on one hand how many were senators.
So that number is nowhere near a representative sample.
By your logic, we should NEVER elect a governor for president because, you know, there were so many MORE bad governor presidents than senator presidents.
Well, duh.
That’s just because there were so many more governor presidents than senator presidents, period.
I have no idea what you are talking about. I made no mention of any specific numbers, made this a mathematical equation or used what I said as a sample for a statistical statement.
I just said that there were bad presidents both from the Senate and governors. Lincoln was a lawyer with only 2 years in the house under his belt yet he led the nation through a terrible time in this country.
Presidents have come from all different places. Some were lawyers, some were judges, some were senators, some were in the house. Some were military. Lyndon Johnson had been a governor. Does that mean that all governors would make bad presidents? If one teacher molests a child are all teachers molestors? Are all cops bad?
This generalization is insane. You pick someone that has the most to offer no matter where it comes from. It could be the private sector, the Congress, the courts or the military. You look at the person and their policies. There have been some terrible presidents that have been governors. I don’t see how that anoints anyone as great presidential material anymore than having a full head of hair or no college degree matters.
That is really what is illogical.
Scott Walker has been a great governor and Ted Cruz a great senator. They both have strengths and weaknesses. Look at the strengths and weaknesses. Look at their policies, past statements, voting records and actions.

Also you would need more than one hand. I think there are about 16 presidents who have served in the Senate. About 20 were govs. DUH!

And I never said there were more bad governors as presidents than senators. Show me where I said that.
If you consider 4 more govs than senators to be SO MANY MORE I question YOUR logic and mathematics skills.
It makes no difference to me where they come from but apparently you are stuck on them having to be a governor. To each their own.
