I’ve already spoken about one of the plays made by Apple and Tim Cook to damage Android. This was the push to 64-bit computing in the iPhone 5S. As that smartphone was announced, the roadmaps for Android devices did not have 64-bit computing planned in the near future. Manufacturers and component suppliers were bounced into making bold claims that they would join Apple in the 64-bit world.
They had no choice but to do this. Android’s success was built around the promise of being faster, better, and stronger than its rival OS. If Apple was 64-bit, Android had to be 64-bit as well. Promises were made, plans were changed, and the rush to 64-bit comp
The impact of that push remain to this day. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 was the chipset expected to lead the charge, but production issues have forced manufacturers to delay products into Q3 2015, or choose alternative chips with the resulting compatibility problems of running third-party Android applications.
Apple weakened the chipsets in Android by forcing the manufacturers to follow them on the 64-bit roadmap. Resources, time, and developmental energies were directed away from competing directly with Apple and into something that has taken far longer than planned.

Yes, like moths drawn to the light, they are irresistibly attracted to Apple related threads where, unable to resist the impulse, they MUST post comments attacking Apple products and/or Apple users. I am an Apple fanatic because of their computers. When I fell in love I with Apple there were no phone, no iPods or the like.
Even back then, in the hazy days of computers Apple, the company came in tops at jD Powers customer service polls. Apple had sure their products worked before there were phones.
Now, my Apple world encompasses many devices. I really like all of them. I am hooked on Apple’s incredible customer service. I always feel like I bought the best product. The company has never left me feeling ripped off.
Apple learned costomer service long before Android and the like.
You’re like the militant gays that love to put it in everyone’s face every chance they get, just dying for them to say anything about it so they can go off on what “haters” they are.

But he does have a point, the $499.99 (More accurately described as $500) box requires the extra hundreds of dollars to get the monitor, the keyboard, the mouse. So you are left with around $1000 spent on the actual computer. I just know that they aren’t for everyone.
You bet! Apple has a long history of knowing how to please it’s customers. It got a little bad when Sculley kicked out Jobs and some other CEOs tried to make Apple just like other “ho-hum tech companies” but fortunately Steve Jobs got back in control of Apple and made it WILDLY SUCCESSFULLY!!
All I can say is “Hooray for Apple, the American success story that it is!”
Besides, who wants some Korean has-been and copy-cat company anyway?!
I enjoy the ipods, and I personally see myself possibly getting a macbook in a few years.

I respect Steve Jobs for his attitude, regardless of whether I am all Apple, he was a fine specimen of someone who wants to make products that aren’t that hard to figure out.
If you are going to buy a mouse screen and keyboard from Apple, buy a more powerful IMAC. . . the purpose of the Mac Mini is to use what you already have. or you can buy any monitor for $89, a $50 Mac Key board, and a $50 Mac Mouse, or a $25 third party keyboard or used Mac keyboard and a $10 any mouse, and have a Mac. . . and your point is shot down.
I think equating deviant sex with the choice of which phone you choose is a bit over the top.
I, personally, never go on other phone threads. I only go on Apple threads to share with other Apple people.
But, it is unfortunate. A certain subset of Freepers insists on coming on Apple threads. Some for years ... Sound like someone you know?

He was apparently a difficult and hard person to have for a boss, but I guess that would depend on whether one is trying to be liked by everyone ... or they are going to do the best, no matter who else may get in the way. Jobs was going to go for the best. And that works IF one is a GENIUSES ... which it appears Steve Jobs was.
I worry Apple may stray from his ethos. If they do, they will suffer.
