Thanks for the link. It certainly didn’t contradict my
position very much. As governor of your state, Wisconsin,
Walker has not had to think as much about the southern
border issues as southwestern states. The link clearly
indicates that Walker is not stuck on a particular policy
path with regard to illegal immigration.

Facts don’t lie!!

http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/scott-walker-asks-mexico-to-open-consulate-in-wisconsin-b99120688z1-227850711.html

“It’s all is about the 11 million [undocumented immigrants],” Walker said. “You hear some people talk about border security and a wall and all that. To me, I don’t know that you need any of that if you had a better, saner way to let people into the country in the first place.”

Walker added: “If people want to come here and work hard in this country, I don’t care if you come from Mexico or Canada or Ireland or Germany or South Africa or anywhere else. I want them here.”

I could vote for Walker. At least he still produces testosterone.

I know. Walker’s wimpish statements on both homo-marriage and amnesty are the reasons I have little interest in him. Oh, I’ll wait and see how and if he clarifies things, but all in all, I’ve been down this road before, and I’m intensely distrustful of these GOP Chamber-of-Commerce types.

Once again we eat our own picking on the things we do not like. The huge benefit of walker is the huge anti gov union battle he won several times despite all the power and money of the left and he won. I love the idea of a battle harden winner who has been tested and all the possible dirt already looked for. No one can match that Record. We need a take no names give no quarter fighter.

ALL that matters to me is whether Walker will fight tooth-and-nail against homo-marriage and amnesty. Those two issues comprise 95% of the factoring in regards to whom I’m going to vote for. Or even whether I’ll vote.

Romney helped facillitate fag-marriage onto this country when he was governor of Massachusetts. And thus he became the first Republican candidate, big office or small, that did not get my vote in an election since I first reached voting age. I left my presidential ballot blank.

I’ll do it again, if the GOP continues to cozy up to such degeneracy, spitting on my values and beliefs.

I'd rather have a candidate who is for lowering taxes and if he is for gay marriage (and I haven't heard that he is for gay marriage) who cares. I believe in PERSONAL FREEDOMS and a small government. I know I'm a bit libertarian in the social issues, but to me, if people refuse to vote Republican in 2016 because X is for gay marriage, but is 100% conservative on taxes, gun rights, school choice, smaller government, Keystone, energy independence, etc..the Marxist in Democrat clothes will win.

As my landlord where my office is located say 'Why will his marriage to his lover threaten yours?' Yes, my office is in a building owned by a homosexual.

Agree...we do eat our own... I’m libertarian in social issues. People on here accuse me of being a RINO for not being against gay marriage. My wife and I have a strong marriage and it doesn’t concern us if our neighbors are lesbians.

The statement amazes me.

To put it as kindly as I can, it's not just about you...or your marriage.

Im torn on Walker. He seems to be the closest candidate that could unite both the fiscal and social, moderate/conservative wings of the party....but I keep hearing he is weak on amnesty.

He is strong on immigration. Don’t let the liars fool you. He will be just fine on all issues. He is a 100 percent pro-life Governor....that is what the focus should be.

Oh my God. You do know that Walker is a Governor don’t you. Cruz is a Senator. Sheesh we need some big time government studies around here. Why on Earth would Walker support Cruz on what is going on in the Senate? Perhaps Cruz should stand up for Walker on his incredible accomplishments. I hear nothing from Cruz for Walker? God help us.

Tell me, why should I be opposed to gay marriage? I hate the term marriage,(civil unions it should be called) but as a small government conservative, government should not be in the kitchen (telling us what to eat Michelle Obama and Mike Huckabee), classroom (no common core) or the bedroom.

Every amnesty expert believes Walker is pro-amnesty.

David Frum @davidfrum

Jeb Bush’s greatest nomination weakness: immigration. Can Walker exploit that vulnerability when he shares more or less the same view?

Mark Krikorian @MarkSKrikorian

.@fubaglady @kausmickey @JBRichard50 Unfortunately, on immigration it’s hard to see the difference between @ScottWalker & @JebBush.

Mickey Kaus @kausmickey

.@MarkSKrikorian Pro-amnesty Koch Bros. presumably have some influence over @ScottWalker. Have been big backers. Now may kill his chances.

Mark Krikorian @MarkSKrikorian
.@ScottWalker: Any foreigner who wants to move here should be able to; illegal immigration caused by numerical limits.

https://twitter.com/kausmickey

I would prefer Walker to Jeb/Christie.

But I would actually prefer Rand to Christie.

I think someone like a Pat McCrory could be a dark horse. He is the only governor who pushed back against amnesty. Brewer supports Boehner and McCain in different ways. Abbott said the system is broken and tells hispanics and the GOP base different things.

If Rand is president the GOPE congress will be too busy trying to sanction Iran and give funding to ISIS rebels in Syria to pass an amnesty.

Is libertarian Rand going to sell amnesty to a bunch of law and order Republicans in congress? Bush couldn’t sell amnesty and he had a more united GOP in 2001-2007 than Rand will have.

How will his marriage to his lover threaten yours? Simple. The homosexuals want the whole world to bow down and worship at the altar of anal sex. The Supreme Court will make sure that you do.

The homosexual mafia has already attacked many Christians across the country and the world. The courageous, God-fearing victims include a Colorado baker, Oregon florist, New Mexico photographer, E-Harmony dating service, Canadian lawyer, Danish pastor, Houston minister or most recently, Atlanta police chief. The militant homosexuals forced these Christians to give up our freedoms of speech, religion, commerce and association.

Don’t think for a minute that churches will escape the long tentacles of the homosexual agenda. Slowly but surely churches will be forced to hire homosexuals for secular and religious jobs — under penalty of losing their tax exemption. Homosexuals are angry, aggressive, vicious and want our slavish obedience and approval.

That’s how his marriage will affect us.

It isn’t even about the “marriages” many of which will prove ephemeral, and will in the majority case not be undertaken at all. It’s about the screaming libertine (not libertarian, libertine) ethic. This is something spiritual and it won’t brook talk of its opposite, marital purity.
