Already, the press is throwing around terms like “Snowmageddon” to describe what’s coming. Next comes politics: Whenever the East Coast sees an extreme snow event, the weather is perfect for snow trolling — e.g., trying to use one cold event to refute a warming climate trend.

All Powerful Global Warming can do as it pleases - it can make blizzards worse or make them weak. It can lower the seas or raise the seas. It will punish mankind at the time and place of its choosing due to a sinful and wanton mankind and its destruction of Mother Gaia

And everyone should get the same message: if they can’t predict a storm just 24 hours out, how in God’s name can they talk about what’s going to happen in 100 years!?

Well, here in metrowest Boston, we've got 32" already, and its stll climbing.
It could also stunt the growth of turnips.
I live NE of Hartford. We were supposed to get 30 inches of snow and 5 foot drifts. Hundreds of thousands were expected to lose power.
We got about 14 inches and 2 foot drifts. No one lost power.
We have been getting about three such snow storms every winter for the past 30 years. I would be embarrassed to call this storm anything unusual.
The only thing that has increased is the hype.
Every person on Free Republic called it yesterday.
That’s impossible.
By 2018, they will blame Global Warming on Baldness, Paris Hiltons wardrobe malfunctions, deflated footballs and P.M.S.
If global warming causes blizzards then you’ll get negative feedback. More snow and ice = more of the sun’s heat reflected = cooling. Earth takes care of itself.
Last year, we did have a record late ice melt on the Great Lakes.

Forty years of child sacrifice hasn’t helped.
Unfortunately, if we do not do something drastic, right now, we will suffer the consequences of Anthropomorphic Global Climate Averageness. Yes, I'm afraid that the climate will go through warm and cold spells that will average out over the millennia, yet change one way or the other over millions of years.
