I grew up in Dispensationalism and it was simply taught as the truth at my Southern Baptist University. I fully understand it. However, over time I came to a different understanding. I’m still very pro-Israel, but not on the basis of Dispensationalism.
I’m sure you followed some different preacher who talked you out of it.
