The Rev. Al Sharpton, U.S. Rep. John Lewis and actor/singer Harry Belafonte will all be visiting East Lansing next month as part of a Michigan State lecture series.
The William G. Anderson Lecture Series Slavery to Freedom: An American Odyssey’s 15th annual iteration will bring all three prominent civil rights leaders to Michigan State’s campus for separate lectures during February.

I'll never forget during the Live Aid epidemic in the 1980s with Michael Jackson,Belafonte,etc... There was a news clip of those two in Africa with starving kids wearing rags standing around looking at them and they handed out "We Are The World" CDs! The look on those kids faces!! Belafonte is crispy critters!

* Alan West, Gov. Scott, and Mia Love debating these 3.
* MSU having the cohones to invite them.
* Imagine the 3 on the other side accepting the debate.
Never happen, we have lost discourse and a polite audience to sit and watch...
