COBB COUNTY, Ga. - Authorities said they have found two bodies believed to be those of a missing Cobb County couple after a long search Monday.
During a press conference late Monday afternoon, Telfair County Sheriff Chris Steverson said the bodies of a man and woman matching their description were found a short ways away from the car belonging to the couple. They said that car was found submerged in a lake.
"My heart goes out to the Runion family. We've done everything we possibly could do to get this family found, get their parents found, unfortunately it's a sad outcome, but hopefully there will be some closure knowing that they have been located," Sheriff Steverson said during a press conference Monday afternoon.

He had talked to them on an untraceable "burner" phone - which he had paid for with a credit card...
He needs to be expeditiously removed from the gene pool.
I put an ad on Craigslist for my business and all I got was weird spam responses.
I’ll never go to that site again.

Because the couple likely brought a big wad of cash in order to buy a car. I don't know why they couldn't have just robbed the couple without killing them... senseless.

The deceased was looking for a 1966 Mustang, they don't come cheap. The Perp knew the couple had money if they were looking for a 66’. Most likely he convinced them that it was a cash only transaction. Of course the car never existed.
Ok, you can lure unsuspecting people to a rendezvous. You can overpower and kill them, taking all their belongings. What then? Do you think their cell phone can't be traced? Or who they made calls to can't be investigated? Then, when the experienced investigators show up to question you, do you actually think you can brazen it out? Do you think you left no evidence?
I ask again, how did he think he could get away with this?
The couple put an ad on CL and the suspect responded to them. There was no 66 Mustang. The suspect turned himself in this morning. I wish he would get the death penalty and sooner rather than later.
If it were what you were thinking, this thread would've brought it up multiple times already, and the whole thread would be twice as long.
