Fiorina brings nothing to the ticket. At best she might be angling for a cabinet post.
Exactly my point.
Cruz’ strategy to shut down the Senate was horrible. It only resulted in a gain of nine GOP seats in the Senate.
If they weren't so concerned in sharing snarky comments, they may have done their due diligence and discovered she was paraphrasing Dr. Martin Luther King.
Chris Christie and Mike Huckabee are nothing but talk when it comes to conservatism.
If I remember right, what gets Christie more excited than anything else is when he can help build more mosques.
I think building mosques is Christies’ absolute favorite activity.
Can anyone identify one candidate who lost because of the shutdown?
Just to be clear; I hope you realize I was being sarcastic.
The final 3 will be Walker, Cruz, and Bush.
Look for Ted to take out Jeb in the debates.
Maybe. But it does give you a window into what the GOPe is thinking. In general, I find John Fund to be a better window than George Will, token conservative for the Washington Post.
Okay. I’ll give Fund another chance or two. Haven’t read or listened to much that Will has blurbed in 6 or 7 years, if not longer.
(Not a Republican. Just have been forced to vote that way until recent years. Phooey on the lot of them.)
Hey, Sarah Palin could become a GREAT Secratary of State!
My heart and money is on Walker.
Go Scott, go Walker, go Alicia. Alicia???? She’s my grand niece and Walker’s Scheduling assistant. or whatever her title is. She schedules his appointments.
Fantastic input!
This is hilarious and amazing.
All the feeding frenzy hysterics on the morning shows are picking at that passage as incoherent and dumb.
And it turns out it is Martin Luther King, the icon of icons, who said it.
“Can anyone identify one candidate who lost because of the shutdown?”
And I think the imagery that came out of it with the WWII vets standing or sitting by barricades shutting them out of their memorial garnered a lot of votes that put some candidates over the top.
Rand Paul stands against Israel with Obama.
But I just looked it up, and apparently Palin was referring to this quote from Martin Luther King:
"Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle. And so we must straighten our backs and work for our freedom. A man can't ride you unless your back is bent."
Sarah gave a lousy speech this time. Really lousy. They all do it from time to time. If she want to get in the race for real she will have to work on her communication skills and give more speeches like the one she gave at the 2008 convention.
