A Kirksville, Mo. doctor righteously and very satisfyingly slapped down a substitute teacher after she sent a note home condemning the lunch his second-grade daughter had brought to school.
The doctor and mad dad is Justin Puckett, reports ABC News.
As Puckett — who is certified in obesity medicine — later observed to the principal at the school, the teacher and a cafeteria worker didn’t see the whole lunch. Sure, they saw a pickle, a bag of marshmallows, some Ritz crackers and four tiny chocolate bars.
Importantly, what the sub and the lunch lady missed were four pieces of ham and a stick of low-fat string cheese.
There was no bread because the Puckett family isn’t big on bread. Also, the chocolate bars were for sharing with friends.

Especially when modern school lunches are black bean slurry on hard whole grain bread, moldy fruit, a tiny piece of salty lunch meat, unidentified mush and mostly thrown away.
And the father is also an asshole? Why is that?
These teachers learned nothing, they are superior so they must know more than an actual obesity doctor.
If they’re yours to abort, yours to pay for, raise, bail out of jail and pay up for when they damage something-they are yours to FEED! Good thing I don’t have kids in school. Anybody watching what the teachers eat?
You know, for people dependent upon the enrollment of children to get federal money, these people act like they don’t want the money. Intentionally aggravating parents is not the way to keep children in public school. They should just shut up and take the money.
I was an assistant scoutmaster for several years. The scouts were all over the socioeconomic scale but a pretty good bunch of kids. A lady showed up at a meeting literally seething, David had come home from a camping trip with bacon breath and David was a Jewish kid.
I didn't know David was Jewish, he never mentioned it.
I remembered David at the campfire scarfing bacon like his life depended on it, but the other kids didn't mind sharing, they were eating everything in sight, and David was eating bacon like a Southern Baptist.
What do you do? Do you ban bacon for everyone? Is that "fair"?
Nothing can be fair for everyone except nothing.

She’s feeding them “Brown 25”.... Oh boy, If someone remembers that movie, I am gonna owe them a screen as they spit their coffee all over it!

I remember last year one of my daughters’ came home and reported the “lunch monitor” had told her that Mrs. Obama would be so approving of the home-packed lunch she’d brought.
I told my daughter, tell the lunch monitor that your mother doesn’t give ... uh... 2 shakes of a lamb’s tail what Mrs. Obama thinks about your lunch.

School lunches have always sucked. Remember the “tomatoe needles,” the rolled up tomatoe skin that hardened into a toothpick? Getting it stuck in the roof of your mouth was half the fun.
Glad to see people standing up to the nanny staters.
Just what I thought. Yucky.
Because Puckett is offended by freedom loving Americans expressing their opinions to the school on government overreach.
