Gee, wha happened? Did they make fun of Mohammed or something?

I’m sorry for these men, may they rest in peace.

Everybody keeps “expressing outrage”. We have the capability to erase these spineless jellyfish from the face of the earth. Why don’t we do it?

When translated, he was found to say,

“You ISIS people are going to get a REAL serious talking to!
Now, go to your room and wait until Obama gets home!
And, NO TV for a week!”

——President Obama condemned what he called a “brutal murder.”——

Which means he is blinded by ideology. Obama continues to describe what history knows as war to be crime. He is an intellectual midget

The left thinks there is no war. War was abolished. War has been so tightly constrained it can not be.

They continue to lose ground. Until there is war and lots of death and destruction of the enemy, there will be no end.

My prediction: This murder will have exactly the effect that ISIS intended. Japan pledged $200 million dollars to fight ISIS, then a Japanese citizen was killed.

Other nations will get the message: Don't contribute to the anti-ISIS effort, at least not publicly. It's the old story. One wolf will dominate 100 sheep.

I assume he will follow Obama’s lead and sent a strongly worded letter to ISIS while he makes his now famous facial grimace...

Or something. I would never willingly travel to the Middle East.

I can’t imagine living where every step, utterance, or seemingly innocent slight could end up offending the wrong person, resulting in some bizarre punishment.

OTOH, I’m not so concerned about Obama traveling to Saudi Arabia to meet the new king. I’m confident that he is accustomed to their ways and will fit right in.

Is the Japanese prime minister also spewing Obama-inspired verbiage about this not being related to Islam, or do they have their heads screwed-on more soundly in Japan? (unlikely...)

“One billion, three hundred thousand Muslims are ready to kill you…”
January 25, 2015 sheikyer mami

You’re not supposed to know, and you can’t be permitted to notice that Muhammad was “a merciless war chief, plunderer, slaughterer of Jews and a polygamist.”

The Redeker case

by Hugh Fitzgerald

What may be recognized, in a whisper, by some “within the family,” can never ever be said by those without. That is the motto of many, not only of Cosa Nostra. But most members of this fanatical faith — fanatical in posse, and in esse, far more than others now called “religions” — are unlikely to conclude, from the same facts that M. Redeker knew of, that Muhammad was “a merciless war chief, plunderer, slaughterer of Jews and a polygamist.” That he led 77 expeditions and was ruthless in his dealings with those who refused to yield to him, that he took booty and even established rules for the distribution of such booty, that he massacred Jewish tribes who refused to submit to him, or even Jews who had no dealings with him whatsoever, as the inoffensive farmers of the Khaybar Oasis, that he had 9 or 11 wives, depending on whom you count — all this is true, but to have a non-Muslim write or say that Muhammad was “a merciless war chief, plunderer, slaughterer of Jews and a polygamist” is simply — not allowed. It can be known, and it can be reveled in, by a billion Muslims. But not a single non-Muslim is permitted to notice this.

For the world is divided, in Islam, between Muslim and non-Muslim, Believer and Infidel. Infidels are not permitted to express any view of Islam that is critical. It would not be right, it would not be just. Come to think of it, Muslims are not permitted to express criticism of Muhammad either, but for Muslims, speaking to a Muslim audience, some will describe Muhammad with pride as “a merciless war chief, plunderer, slaughterer of Jews and a polygamist” in those or very similar terms, and others will express the same thing in a different, slightly more muted way. But in either case the description cannot be taken as criticism. For whatever Muhammad did was right. He is the Perfect Man, uswa hasana, al-insan al-kamil. Were he not the Perfect Man, Islam itself might crumble.

In Redeker’s case — he being an Infidel — his articulating the very aspects of Muhammad’s life that Muslims are taught not as deplorable but as part of his entirely admirable existence, have earned him the murderous threats he has received.

There is no contradiction here. This is your brain. This is your brain on Islam.

What's the protocol here? Must Obama bow down as deeply to the new king as he did to the old king?

It can be argued that it is a question of seniority as a leader.

Obama was new when he bowed previously. As a world leader, he is now senior to the new king . It is the new king, the less senior that must bow.

It won’t happen though

“We have the capability to erase these spineless jellyfish from the face of the earth. Why don’t we do it?”

Even when the Left does not control the government they do control most channels of communication. Propaganda, which they excel at, does control the view that the populace has of the government. Western governments are sensitive to how the nation “feels” because if “feeling” goes too negative, not only are they out of power, but they might end up in an international court doing the perp-walk. For example, Vice President Biden loudly proclaimed that when in office they should prosecute George W. Bush and some of his cabinet officers for “war crimes.” Nothing came of that, I suspect, because it would set a precedent and any president, or cabinet officer, could be prosecuted for something. Historically, it takes a Pearl Harbor type incident to sufficiently motivate the public to support extreme measures. (Area bombing in World War II comes to mind.) We had that in 9/11 but the Left quickly mobilized their propaganda machine and neutralized it; probably because it wasn’t THEIR war and they’ll do anything to hurt the other side (nominally, Republicans) and the US. We won’t see any effective action against terrorism until they start hitting liberals in Hollywood and along the other coast cities. Even then, those of the Left not affected directly will still shout for tolerance. It’s going to be a bad century for everybody.

Never mind the Middle East; I avoid the areas here in the northeast that are basically Muslim colonies here. Within a few miles of my home are concentrations of them (in Jersey City, Passaic); I’ve still never even seen a mosque because I avoid their neighborhoods like the plague.

On the other hand, my town’s Boys Club has been converted to a Hindu temple, and that is of no concern to me at all.

-——It’s going to be a bad century for everybody.——

Or, the ability if ISIL to project is trivial.

Their actual effect is not great when compared to WW II and millions of deaths. The deaths produced by ISIL out of their theater is very small when compared to ordinary murders or auto accidents.

In the grand scheme of things, the projections of ISIS on the world don’t really amount to much

It is the new king, the less senior that must bow.

Here's another way of looking at it. Saudi Arabia is the home of Islam. As the leader of that country, the Saudi king is, by title, the most senior of all.

Obama is only the ruler of a yet-to-be-claimed province of the caliphate. So I'm guessing that it is still Obama who must bow.

Perhaps John Kerry will weigh in on this matter and clear it up for us.
