Is this Alexander Litvinenko's beyond the grave attack on Putin?

A tape apparently recorded by murdered Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko a year before he was poisoned has revealed he was digging up links between Vladimir Putin and one of the world’s most dangerous terrorists.

A Telegraph investigation uncovered the audio recording, in which the dissident claims from beyond the grave that Russia’s president had a “good relationship” with Semion Mogilevich - a Ukrainian crime boss who was on the FBI's most wanted list and whom Mr Litvinenko believed was selling weapons to al-Qaeda.

The apparent recording of Mr Litvinenko is published for the first time ahead of a public inquiry into his death, which begins on January 27.

In the tape, made in November 2005 in the same London sushi restaurant where Mr Litvinenko held one of his final meetings, he also connects Russia’s foreign intelligence and state security services – the SVR and FSB - with a former KGB agent whom he believed had links to al-Qaeda.

The same agent may also feature in the public inquiry, with lawyers examining his possible involvement in the spy’s death.

And in an early indication of his fears of the Kremlin, Mr Litvinenko discloses in broken English that Russia had threatened him for working with a commission probing alleged Soviet links with Italian politicians. He says Russian special services were “very afraid” of the commission’s work.

Mr Litvinenko, 43, was a former KGB agent who fled to Britain in 2000. He was allegedly poisoned by radioactive polonium-210 at a hotel in London in November 2006.

His family and friends have claimed that the Russian state ordered his killing.

Andrey Lugovoy and Dmitry Kovtun, both former KGB bodyguards, have been identified as suspects in his murder. However both deny any involvement and remain in Russia despite attempts by the UK to extradite them...

I have always had a feeling that if people really knew who Putin was they would be horrified.

I also feel the same way about Obama.

Power corrupts, it even sometimes corrupts very fine people.
When a person of questionable morals gains power you have a recipe for disaster.

I think Russia is a bit of North Korea-light; not as severe but similarities definitely, authoritarian and totalitarian.

Mr Litvinenko, 43, was a former KGB agent who fled to Britain in 2000. He was allegedly poisoned by radioactive polonium-210 at a hotel in London in November 2006.

Allegedly poisoned with Polonium 210? I think they mean "allegedly poisoned by the Russkies". He did not die because he was so healthy. And Polonium 210 wasn't a random diagnosis awaiting confirmation.

As for links between the KGB/FSB and Al-Qaeda-- linking certain crime bosses under control of the FSB with al-qaeda is only one part of what he states. He also says that Ayman Al-Zawahiri was trained by the FSB for a whole year:

A. Litvinenko: The bloodiest terrorists in the world were or are agents of the KGB-FSB. These are well-known, like Carlos Ilyich Ramiros, nicknamed "the Jackal," the late Yassir Arafat, Saddam Hussein, Adjalan (he is condemned in Turkey), Wadi Haddad, the head of the service of external operations of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Hauyi, the head of the communist party of Lebanon, Mr. Papaionnu from the Cyprus, Sean Garland from Ireland and many others. All of them were trained by the KGB, received money from there, weapons and explosives, counterfeit documents and a communication equipment for carrying out of acts of terrorism worldwide.

FAKT: Some may object that each of the listed figures, and the forces supporting them, were engaged in solving their own political problems.

A. Litvinenko: Certainly, all these figures and movements operated under their own slogans; however, none of them especially hid their "intimate" ... relationship with the Kremlin and Lubyanka. There is a simple question: whether the Russian special services would train and finance people and groups that were not supervised by Lubyanka and did not serve the interests of the Kremlin? You understand perfectly, they would not. Each act of terrorism made by these people was carried out as an assignment and under the rigid control of the KGB of the USSR. And [the terrorism] ... is not casual after the disintegration of the USSR and [reform of the KGB]....

FAKT: Every terrorist you have named is from 'the old staff' of the KGB. Could you name someone from recent history?

A. Litvinenko: Certainly, here it is. The number two person in the terrorist organization al Qaeda, who they are crediting with the series of explosions in London, Ayman al-Zawahiri, is an old agent of the FSB. Being sentenced to death in Egypt for terrorism and hunted by Interpol, Ayman al-Zawahiri, in 1998, was in the territory of Dagestan, where for half a year he received special training at one of the educational bases of the FSB. After this training he was transferred to Afghanistan, where he had never been before and where, following the recommendation of his Lubyanka chiefs, he at once ... penetrated the milieu of bin Laden and soon became his assistant in al Qaeda.

FAKT: Could you hint at least, where this data comes from?

A. Litvinenko: I can. During my service in one of the most secret departments of the FSB, top officials from the UFSB of Dagestan, who had directly worked with Ayman al-Zawahiri ... were called to Moscow and received high posts."

Litvinenko was NOT the only KGB/FSB defector making claims like this regarding Russia's ties with terrorism. Note these interviews with Lt. Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa highest ranking defector to ever come over to the west. Confirms Russia's role in world wide Islamic terrorism. Click link to know more:

From KGB defector Anatoliy Golitsyn and an anecdote from General Alexander Sakharovsky, same topic as the previous. See link:

Finally, modern use of terrorism in Russia against Russian citizens. The apartment bombings in Moscow blamed on the Chechens in order to go to war with Chechnya (ever wonder why Russian media traffics in 9/11 trutherism? It's projection.):

Russia funds Ramzan Kadyrov of Chechnya, he's a Muslim too.

Looks like Radio Free Europe, RFERL, reports Litvinenko requested a Muslim burial.

If so, Litvinenko nutriders have more in common with Russia than they let on.
