In Norway's educational system, history is not a valued subject. It is included under either "Social Studies" or "Norwegian." Many Norwegians are therefore unaware how their society and democracy were formed, or of the enormous prices paid to attain them. Recent generations seem to take them for granted.
Norway's education system is also permeated with an idealistic vision of equality and a belief in cultural relativism: that everyone, every culture and every religion are of the same value. Schools and even preschools are obliged to work to wipe out class differences. The majority of teachers are idealists who believe in the idealism they are obliged to preach. Islam is presented in schoolbooks as "just another religion" -- attractive, and portrayed as if has already been reformed, a situation just not the case.

Been to Norway 9 times and live there and I would not even recognize the country form what I have heard.
It used to be a good Viking proud country bit the last time I was there I saw many , many Iranians and middle easterns moving in.
When it comes to free speech there is none when it concerns homosexuals and muslims, especially in Europe.

UK is just as bad, or worse. Seems like the police is more busy trawling facebook for potential anti muslim sentiments than to stop grooming and gang raping of young girls all over especially North England.
BTW. I I am thinking this country is beyond saving, and might emmigrate like you. America, for all her faults, is not even close to what is happening in Europe. You have a first ammendment that people still rever and respect.

Norway is a special case. Because its population is so small, it has long been targeted by socialists-communists to be *destroyed* as a nation. That is, reduced to a one party socialist state, with an imported, homogeneous population, not ethnic Norwegian, with no unique culture, history or language.
They hope for Norway to become a generic socialist district in the EU, effectively to end as a nation, run by faceless bureaucrats. And the program to do this is quite old.
Hitler created the Hitler Youth, the Hitler Jugend, to raise a next generation of ideologically pure Nazi leaders. The socialists and communists thought it was a grand idea to indoctrinate socialist and communist leaders when young, so just five years later merged their youth leagues as a socialist clone of the Hitler Jugend. It was called the Workers’ Youth League (AUF).
After the war, the AUF set to create a new class of politically correct leaders, and did so. Their next step was to get political control over their nation, so they could destroy it. Not enough Norwegians supported them, so with still divided power, they hit on open immigration to subvert and take control.
Simply put, their national immigration policy was changed, so that anyone could come to Norway, specifically the poor, ignorant, and uneducated, in a program similar to Ted Kennedy’s immigration “reform” of 1968 in the US. The idea was that they would give citizenship to anyone, with the tacit understanding that they would vote for the socialists, who would give them welfare.
In any event, under socialist leadership, Norway was steadily weakened and driven downhill. Had their program continued in an uninterrupted fashion, in another generation or two they likely would have achieved their goal, and every part of Norway’s history, culture, and the Norwegian people would become extinct.
However, one man thought otherwise. Anders Behring Breivik pretty much wiped out an entire generation of the AUF. And while to modern sensibilities it sounds terrible that he killed “children”, the truth is that those he killed were in their own way as repugnant as were Hitler Jugend.
Being socialist-communists, they were raised to have the same ruthless attitudes of other socialist and communist movements around the world, which far too often resulted in horrible things. Genocides that far eclipsed the Nazis.
Many of the Red Khmer were “children”, too. But nobody mourns their destruction at the hands of the Vietnamese.
While the AUF did not have a program of murderous genocide, the destruction of the Norwegian people, their nation, culture, and language, had the same ends.
If the media and politicians admit there is a problem, they will be forced to retract their belief in multiculturalism and apologize for voluntarily allowing a change in Norway's demographics, with potentially many violent outcomes. They might have to admit that the media and politicians know of the dangers of Islam's doctrines but do not dare to publish them; that maybe they have been collectively threatened and are afraid of the consequences. Other countries' media might be afraid to talk about Islam's doctrines because of their dependence on oil from the Middle East, but this is not the case for Norway.
The author appears to not understand that the media is a corrupt propaganda operation of dedicated socialists he is complaining about. He thinks they are regular people not indoctrinated and aligned fully with the destructive forces.

My parents belonged to “The Sons of Norway.” They got together frequently, spoke random Norwegian phrases, ate some Norwegian dishes, etc. Even though it was evident to anyone that looked, I don’t think that they had a clue that Norway was in a steep cultural decline.
