Listening to President Obama, it is clear he considers himself a superior intellectual force, smarter than everyone and everything that has come before.

This was a State of the Union speech defined by its hypocrisy.

The most divisive President lecturing on unity. The most political President lamenting the realities of politics. The greatest fundraising President expressing sorrow about constant fundraising. The most partisan President calling for bipartisanship. He’ll veto any change to just about everything, but hey, he will work with Republicans! His true feelings were revealed the one moment he was sufficiently brave enough to go off the teleprompter, insufficiently gracious to let smattering applause at his great revelation that he had no more campaigns to fight, quipping, “I know because I won both of them.”

I'm having a brain fart at the moment, what's the term when retreating to burn everything behind you. Obama the Destroyer is using that practice. He's free to destroy everything he can in the next 2 years. He doesn't leave office until January 20,2017.

I will be shocked if there is not some major catastrophe in the world and in America before then.

Israel attacking Iran. ISIS using a dirty bomb in a major city. Russia goes full war in Ukraine. The euro implodes. The US economy tanks. Chinese agression in the South China Sea.

Or some surprise.

YES! Scorched Earth, that's the term I was looking for. With no election ahead that affects Obama personally, and that's what counts to Obama, Obama is completely free only now to give free reign to his scorched earth intentions.

Up to now, he's done what he could with limitations regarding first, his re-election and second, keeping the Senate in 2014. Now, that that's toast, he can let fly his inner Dr. Destructo.
