Senator’s husband profits for 15 years from federal funds (Feinstein-Blum)
NY Post ^ | 1/19/15 | Richard Johnson

My report Sunday on the lucrative deal Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s husband has to sell 56 post office buildings barely scratched the surface of her conflicts of interest.

The California Democrat’s financier husband, Richard C. Blum, is estimated to be a billionaire from his shrewd investments in companies that profit from federal policies.

“For at least 15 years, Feinstein has appeared to support government contracts that push federal funds toward companies co-owned or governed by her powerful, billionaire husband, Richard C. Blum,” Breitbart News reported.

How many senators aren't multi-millionaires?

And they think they deserve it.

Uhhhhhh, pardon me if this sounds impertinent but if he's her husband wouldn't that make her a billionaire as well?

Lois Lerner’s husband has profited from his wife’s job with the IRS. He is a tax attorney at a DC law firm that represents clients before the IRS. No wonder she maintained her maiden name, to preserve the mirage of independence.

Harry Greed did much the same for his entire career, although most of his scams were land deals. The laws don’t apply to liberals.

People in CA though truly believe the Blums look after “their needs”, to quote the pointy-tailed man in the Richmond debate in 1992 who got the best of George Herbert Walker Bush.

This kind of graft and corruption, corporate welfare theft is what I despise. And yet, people focus on the welfare recipients in the ghettos receiving food, WIC, shots, etc. The multi millions stolen by people who finangle government contracts make the amounts spent on SNAP, TANF etc. a mere drop in the proverbial bucket. It’s just food and a crappy Section 8 residence. Quit, Freepers, whining and complaining about the gimme crowd and take a long serious look at this group of corporate snakes that steal and bankrupt our country to the tune of billions of dollars so they can run around in corporate jets at our expense.

I seem to remember DiFi’s assault weapons ban and Bill Clinton’s exemption of Cosco’s attempted shipment of AK47s to Oakland. Wasn’t Blum associated with Cosco?

“How many senators aren’t multi-millionaires?

I do not have an exact number but, I would hazard a guess that the only ones that are NOT multi-millionaires are still in their first term or at most, less than half way through their second term. After all some are a little slow to learn.
