We the People request that marriage is officially defined as the union between one man and one woman. The age old tradition must be preserved to ensure America keeps its values. Traditional marriage would in fact be the ideal scenario for a child to be raise and future Americans to be developed. We ask the Obama Administration to preserve the concept Traditional Marriage for future America.

The issue is going to be decided by the SC shortly. As activists they will abolish mrriage as the union of one man and one woman. As cowards they will leave it up to individual states or the federal legislature. As Constitutionalists,their designated duty, they will restrict marriage to one man and one woman, unmarried.
Our nation was conceived in liberty, but slavery went on until 1865, when the 13th Amendment was rtified.

The important point is that its defined that way.
The abuse of power that the courts have engaged in - and which the activist SCOTUS is attempting to finalize - was to redefine the word to mean something it did not.
If language means nothing then the law falls.
They are the ones pushing it over the cliff.
That ship sailed almost fifty years ago when we started accepting divorce as easy and commonplace. holy marriage is between a man and a woman, and it is also for life. Anything else is an abomination.
I remember a Priest being asked by a teenager how those sons procreated.

Nice try. However, the so called leadership(Congressional, executive and judicial all favor the criminal and sexually perverse elements of our society. The traditional methods of change will no longer work:( i.e. traditional methods being: petition, elections, recall and referendum.)

Now how the Supreme Court can think they can redefine the language is beyond me.
Call it civil unions, call it whatever the hell you want.
Give them all the cozy legal rights (which they can already do with power of attorney but don’t realize)...
But you cannot call it marriage.
Civil Unions can be between two dogs as long as it satisfies a Government legal definition for legal purposes. The twain should never meet.
A Married man and woman should have both a marriage and a civil union satisfying both God and the Government. IMHO.

This is all about power and legitimizing their deviance.
A free society has the right to make laws regulating behavior, even private behavior. Is murder only murder if it happens in public?!
The issue is them going all out to squash any laws which might affect their behavior. So the ridiculous comedy known as "gay marriage" is just a theatrical sham with one goal: enshrine their behavior in an unassailable social institution.

As the time approaches, some examples of what else wants to marry have started.
In the last few weeks I have read about 1 woman and 2 men who want married status. There’s also a father and daughter who plan to marry. Then there’s the multiple wives crowd.
Marriage is either one man and one woman, or it’s anything anybody wants it to be and nobody can argue.
