The Washington Times ^ | January 15, 2015 | Ben Wolfgang

The White House confirmed Thursday that Canada has postponed the North American Leaders Summit scheduled for next month but would not say whether tension over the Keystone XL oil pipeline is the reason.

Canada, this year’s summit host, announced Thursday that the summit will be held later in 2015, though no exact date has been set. Some Canadian media outlets, such as the Toronto Sun, reported that the meeting was rescheduled because of President Obama’s continued indecision on Keystone, which...

Earnest could well be wrong about a serious rift, Canada may be fed up with 0bama flipping them off.

I hope most of the first world nation leaders don’t bother coming. Their time is far too valuable to waste time ‘playing house’ with Obama, who acts as though he doesn’t want the job.

Is there any place Obama hasn't pissed off with his brilliance yet? Chaos, hate, disdain, and collapse are this guys brush and canvas.

But hey....the world is in ruins and all I got was this lousy cell phone and a $5,000 yearly copay.

I think they are tired of the indecision on Keystone; Obama cares more about what Hollywood elites think of him than about the U.S.’s friendship with Canada.

And of course, the prime minister is from Alberta, so he’s probably fed up with Obama for many reasons and this is a big one.

We’ve had train derailments that polluted areas with oil (there was a huge one in Lac-Megantic, Quebec a couple of years ago). This project will be a safe way to transport oil and will provide jobs for people in both countries, and we’re already using pipelines!

Exactly, and he takes great pride with his in-your-face actions.

The adults who play international relations play it as a serious game and play for keeps. 0bama isn’t an adult; he’s the noisy immature adolescent.

The Chinese more than anyone “get this,” and that’s why they had 0bama sit at the kid’s table in the kitchen during the Pacific summit last year. The rest of the world has caught on.

If I recall, the Chinese had Obama stationed at the table for the Wives, Geishas and Grandbabies. He seemed right at home.

If Obama does hold off the pipeline, it’s not as though Canada is just going to abandon the tarpits however “dirty”. The Chinese are licking their chops and ecstatic we could be so ignorant.

Good for Harper.

I suspect Obama’s treatment of Israel wouldn’t endear the traitor to Harper either.

Of course. Canada is building pipelines east and west, so the oil will be brought to market regardless of what the psycho in chief decides to do. The only question is whether the US will share in the prosperity or be denied by an America-hating subversive.
