Gazprom warns EU to link to Turkey pipeline or lose Russian gas

Moscow (AFP) - Russia's Gazprom giant on Wednesday urged the European Union to link up to its planned energy pipeline to Turkey or lose the gas that now transits Ukraine. Gazprom chief Alexei Miller reminded the new European Commissioner for Energy Union, Maros Sefcovic that the South Stream project to deliver gas to Europe through Ukraine has been scrapped.

Hence, "the Turkish Stream is the only route along which 63 billion cubic metres of Russian gas can be supplied, which at present transit Ukraine. There are no other options," he said...

The Bible Predicts that that Russia in the last days will make one last push to control world events. The prophet Ezekiel, in Ezekiel 38-39, predicted 2500 years ago that the country to the extreme north of Israel, Magog, would lead a coalition invasion of Israel and Palestine. With Israel's new Gas field finds (largest in the world) in the Mediterranean (Tamar, Leviathan) Israel may start selling Gas to Europe. Ezekiel goes on to predict that this invasion will be disastrous for Russia and its coalition nations. G-d himself shall send earthquakes, pestilence, and other natural disasters causing all the coalition nations to fight each other until all are almost destroyed...

Geopolitics is SUCH a messy subject. Not because nobody knows what is coming, but because the signs are always misread and the timing is invariably so bad that the outcome is much worse than it may have otherwise been.
