Right answer, wrong reason.
1. Truly, it is high time that blacks stop expecting the government (read: Democrat party) to save them and go about the business of saving themselves.
2. If each black undertook the responsibility for improving their own individual situation and quit tying their fortunes to the group, they would have a chance to get ahead.
3. They need to rid their heads of this idea that the white man hates them and is holding them down. So long as they blame their difficulties on others, they won't recognize them and can't address them.
4. Start with the recognition that being dependent is not a good way to go through life. Then recognize that there is one political party that encourages this dependence -- delivering free stuff in return for a vote. But that's ALL they deliver -- because they can't afford the dependence to become independence.
5. So far as the existence of racism is concerned, I see a helluva lot more Al Sharptons around than I do David Dukes.
