Former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania threw a few elbows at several potential rivals for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination, calling possible contenders Sens. Rand Paul of Kentucky and Ted Cruz of Texas “bomb throwers” with little experience.
“Do we really want someone with this little experience?” Mr. Santorum said, referring to Mr. Paul, Mr. Cruz and Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, The New York Times reported. “And the only experience they have basically — not Rubio, but Cruz and Paul because I don’t think Rubio is going to go — is bomb throwing? Do we really want somebody who’s a bomb thrower, with no track record of any accomplishments?”
Doug Stafford, a senior adviser to Mr. Paul, told the paper they would pass on responding to the “alleged wisdom” of someone who lost re-election in 2006 by 18 points and who “has spent the time since then trying to convince people to elect him to an even higher office than the one he was booted out of.”

LOL! Well it sure didn't take long for the Sweater Vest crowd to respond! Ted and Rand aren't whining about Rick's comment. CEW makes the point that by saying this, Rick Santorum clearly shows he's not a Tea Party conservative. He siding with the moderates against Cruz.
And irony of ironies, Rick is someone who can't handle being called out ... Rick reacts in a shrill, whiny, defensive, desperate and petulant manner, whenever his Big Government non-conservative fiscal self is called out.

Hell, as long as can read/follow the Const., balance a checkbook and understand foreign entanglements, it’s a pretty

I am sick and tired of supposed FRiends bashing me for being in the military and retiring which is worse and supporting Santorum.....big whoopee do. if you don’t want to support Santorum don’t. I don’t care. You have no idea what I go through on here......read some of the posts to me and you would be a little disgruntled too. You know I didn’t mean anything on my post.
My sole motive for posting is watching over and over again the GOP POTUS primary involving nine or more candidates who completely split and divide the vote so that the most recognized name/money moderate gets the nomination with a mere 30+% of the vote. And my angst in the pre-primary phase mostly goes against the weakest of the lot competing for the Conservative segment of the electorate ... i.e. in my humble opinion ... Santorum, Huckabee and Rand Paul.
If it were up to me, it would be one Conservative (Cruz) against one moderate (Jebby or Mitty) mano e mano.
You LIE....I don’t hate the military, and I don’t insult the warriors by assuming the pencil pusher desk jockeys in the military are heroes - those bureaucrats like you are just government bureaucrats period.

Even on a micro-level - we've found we cannot hire "experienced" employees for our small business. They know it all, and "know" far too many things that simply aren't true. We look for smart, teachable people, instead - and everyone should do the same when seeking out future office-holders.
