Two protesters affiliated with the antiwar groups Code Pink and Witness Against Torture were arrested Saturday morning outside the home of former Vice President Dick Cheney in McLean, Virginia.
The protesters were inside Mr. Cheney’s fenced property when police arrived, “and the homeowners said they were not allowed to be there,” said Fairfax County police spokesman Roger Henriquez, a local Fox affiliate reported. “Police asked them to leave or face trespassing charges.”
Tighe Barry, 57, and Eve Tetaz, 83, were arrested after refusing to leave the property, police said. Police did not know whether the former vice president was home at the time, the station reported.
Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin disputed the police account, telling CNN, “The police asked us to move to the street, so we did. And they arbitrarily arrested two of us.”

I have not heard anything from Liz Cheney since her ill fated goal to challenge Mike Enzi for the senate. I guess she stays busy enough with her five children.
Would it just drive the libs Uber-Wild if Liz Cheney declared herself in the race for the Presidential Nomination? This is unlikely, because I don’t think she has ever held any elected office. If Liz ever tries to run for public office again, I hope she learns from the last experience and refuse to debate her lesbian sister in the public media. Don’t get drawn into a cat-fight you cannot really win.
