So far the biggest story I have seen today besides the Paris demonstration which is about 20 years too late,is that President Al Sisi of Egypt went on TV and told the populace— 80 million Egyptians— to sop letting the terrorists have a free ride in the name of Islam.
I have a Liberal friend who goes tilt and starts yapping about Hama as victims, colonialism, Crusades, our torture, yadda, yadda yadda.
I sent him Al Sisi’s New Years day speech.
My Liberal friend has shredded his old worn out Progressive talking points!!!!
Had to be pre-taped (he prolly got the questions beforehand, too). Holder was supposed to be at some conference I think that happened today.
FNC just said more than 50 leaders in attendance. Given the US doesn’t have much of a leader, guess that’s why he wasn’t there (unless he had a pre-arranged golf game and/or he couldn’t get there after giving his speech in TN yesterday to give away $60B for free community college).
Well I guess the summers are good. We pay our price for living here every hurricane season.....

The hard drive on my Toshiba Sattelite died. swapped in a new SSM drive. My Computer guy charged me $40 to format and transfer files.
The processor was always strong.
My computer is like new!!
I run Microsoft security essentials, and malwarebytes about once a month
My guess is they will try the “holder” before the end of this regime just so zero can set him free once and for all.

One key that makes it so nice is that since Microsoft makes both the hardware and software, therefore it does NOT have the bloatware that Dell, HP, Asus, etc put on their products. So from the get-go it is as lean and clean as an Apple. And therefore more secure. My Surface is an RT based one, however, so I cannot run regular .msi programs on it, just .appx. When I buy another, it will be a Pro. I'm waiting for the Surface 4 with Windows 10 Pro. I'll need a minimum of 16GB (are you listening, Panos?)!
You're absolutely right about the Updates. They should be on!
Quick list:
1. Firewall alwayson.
2. Updatesalways on.
3. Anti-virus alwaysinstalled (Windows 8 and above come with Security Essentials in Defender, a FREE anti-virus).
4. Enhanced Protection Mode alwayson in Internet Explorer.
5. When installing ANY software from a website, CAREFULLY review acceptance screens and UNCHECK ANY software installs that are not part of what you need!

s a genuine IBM. It’s heavy, bulky...I bought it used for a hundred bucks.
I reallty liked the thing but time for me to move on.

If you are not a computer geek, I would highly recommend you pay Geek Squad to take care of yours. They do a tune-up every month by remote control if you want and check for viruses, etc.

Seriously though, Global Warming doesn't mean that it will be 100 degrees average at the Equator, just that the higher and lower latitudes will get warmer. I had a colleague at Auburn University tell me that Global Warming will mean Alabama summers will be 125 degrees or more average. I laughed in his stupid face. Now I teach computers, but he teaches animal science. We're BOTH not meteorologists. But he really is an idiot.
