Guess we've recovered from GloBullWarming so completely, we are now back into Genuine Montana Winter weather. Started out snowing a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving, think we've got a couple feet of the stuff now and temperatures have been low enough some folks have been discussing throwing lawn parties if the sun peeks out and the temp gets over 20 (above zero). Haven't had our vehicles OUT of 4WD since November, we've just about abandoned driving on the Interstate for all the tourists run off into ditches and into the trees 'cause of ice and Grandma's got me out in the yard shoveling trails for the critters. (Just about lost one of the "little" dogs in a 'drift trying to go pee)
...and judging by the way these storms have traveled so far, I'd guess Chicago/Minneapolis is going to get this 'un late Monday and then you should see it a couple days later.
But then we've got rodguy sitting here, calmly talking about running his A/C, for gosh sakes.
Humph! Got a few yards of snow over by the shed I could part with, now I just need to figure a way to ship it all to Rodguy's front porch and sorta give him some NATURAL A/C.

It’s wishful thinking it can’t happen here, but if it did, we know they would have an investigation after the fact, and then come up with other excuses. I really like MT at certain times of the year. My mother (rest her soul) was born and raised there and I have cousins in different parts of the state. That said, I remember being in Butte in February one year and it was 28 below - streets were covered with inches of thick ice - too cold for me.
Cisco Resort, Glacier and Big Sky - beautiful country around there and fun in the summer. Other parts of MT are beautiful as well. Of course, Washington State has many gorgeous places. And, did I mention that we have the Seahawks and that they are the NFC West Champions and won last night! :-)

The caller says that govt. has intervened everytime the freemarket should have been left to do its thing hes right. Then Rush says that it all depends on your perspective and that the world can't do without the U.S. time will tell who is right.

Well, I don't think "freedom of speech" covers that activity. Maybe the militias need to be given that information, so they can exercise their A2 rights.

It’s still relatively early here in the US - it would be nice if we had some gatherings of support in some of the major cities - possibly NY. I hope they don’t do one in DC, The Won will then feel the need to get his face time, unless he’s too busy watching various games.
I read/heard the other day that some were wondering if Obama was going to France and/or why he hadn’t said much. Then poof - a day or 2 later he shows up at the French embassy to sign the book and everyone had to go on about what he signed (surprised he could remember what to write without TOTUS).

Well as much as we know, everyone involved with these known training camps should be deported ASAP, Gitmo at a minimum, an Antarctic south pole location would also insure they could not carry out a mass casualty attack.

For her part Marine Le Pen was furious that the party, who came out on top in the European elections last May, was “excluded” from the march.
“It is very clear,” Le Pen said. “They say that the Front National (FN) are not welcome to a meeting where every other party is invited. There is no longer national unity, it’s disappeared because of their actions.”
The party also fired out a tweet saying: “”The first party of France excluded from the demonstration! It’s a moral fault.”
Thanks for extracting some important points maybe I should have too. This forced heath care act is going to hurt bad, my brother said just for him and his wife the insurance is $1k a month. Many will never see fiscal security or prosperity with this kind of expense—a house, a car, not if you don’t already own it.
We, the lower and middle class, are now the ‘rich’ Democrats have taught everyone to hate most all our lives, and now they are working on the next generation of hate and fear.
More pap for the masses with huge marches that do nothing. Hollande still says that the attack had nothing to do with Islam. And LePen and the National Front were not invited. These "world leaders" have tried to brand anyone who disagrees with their mass immigration policies and the importation of Third World muslims as racists and neo-Nazis. They are using the same tactics that are used by opponents of the Tea Party.
If you can't identify the enemy, you will never win.

You just cannot image how hot and humid it can get, and how long (months) it lasts. My startup load for my A/C array is about 16KW. I’d need at least 2 acres of solar panels to come close. Also, it is during the night I really need A/C—I cannot sleep in hot and humid. I am a wimp in that regard.
I got a big generator, a portable A/C unit and a small room with a bed just so I can sleep if we have a hurricane and lose power. I keep at least 50 gallons of gasoline by the barn just for this (rotate it all with my various gas-powered (Tim Allen double-grunt) tools...)
