Terrified shoppers hid in a freezing cold storage room for five hours after Islamic terrorists stormed a Paris supermarket.
Hearing the sound of gunfire above them about thirty Jewish people buying kosher food for the Sabbath cowered in minus three temperatures praying they would not be found.
One of the shoppers, 36-year-old father-of-four Johan Dorre was able to call a friend on his mobile phone to tell him they were trapped two floors below the ground floor, where six hostages were held at gunpoint.

Astonishing! Thank you..
I see the global warming poetic slant in there.
From sending Jews to ovens with the Nazis, now the French send them into freezers with the communists.
For those who don’t know, that is a photo from the day France surrendered to the Nazis. They have now surrendered to the Islamists.
Amen, Thank the Lord!
the votes of the islamists matter more than saving their secular republic.
Or one can say it was France’s wake up call and they did mount an impressive hunt down of those Islamic scum and dispatched them quickly. Time will tell if France just lets the attacks continue without expelling the radicals.
It could have been worse, they might have been in Cleveland.
The surrender by France is exemplified by the “no go” moslem enclaves where police and fireman have agreed not to enter and and are governed under Shraria “Law.” Disgusting in any country, even France.
Enough people in the USA would never tolerate such BS.
Shameful that the story did not read: “Thirty armed Jewish shoppers overwhelmed and killed terrorist captors.”
I read Shirer’s diary and he wrote about how the communists in the labor unions in France directed the soldiers to do nothing when Hitler advanced, so that’s what they did..
Yes, I thought they did an impressive job.
Not yet anyway. But the ACLU is working on it.
Did you see on CNN Amanpour referred to the terrorists as “Activists”. Words fail me.
Ironic that, going against their critical stereotype, the French stood tall and did not surrender; the liberal pols here and abroad did the surrendering.
That is not what I have understood from my studies. The French Army had some very incompetent and basically arrogant leadership, but the French soldiers fought bravely and suffered many causalities. The Germans simply had far better leadership and tactics.
As I read the accounts, none of the British, (as well as thousands of French troops) who escaped from Dunkirk would have made it out if not for valiant rear guard defenses by the French army. They lost thousands to allow other thousands to live to fight another day.
Make all the fun you want of the piss-poor French command structure in 1940, but don't dishonor the memory of those brave French soldiers who fought to the death in a struggle they knew to be hopeless.
That's real courage.
It is little discussed in the MSM, but there are such areas in other European countries too. France is just the worst.
You stole that from me.
And I didn’t even center the text or have fun graphics.
