Russia's Downgrade Paints A Horrific Picture Of Economic Collapse
The Telegraph (UK) - BI ^ | 1-9-2015 | The Telegraph (UK)

The Telegraph (UK)
January 9, 2015

Fitch has downgraded Russia's credit rating and painted a horrific picture of a struggling economy rocked by a collapsing rouble, falling oil prices, high inflation and declining international reserves.

The ratings agency cut the country to BBB- from BBB with a negative outlook, meaning further downgrades are possible.

But it was the language Fitch used in its reasoning that was most shocking.

Russia's economic outlook "has deteriorated significantly" in just six months, Fitch stated. Gross Domestic Product will shrink 4pc this year, the agency added, far worse than the 1.5pc contraction it previously expected. "Growth may not return until 2017," Fitch said.

Western sanctions, imposed after President Vladimir Putin's took Russia into neighbouring Ukraine, "continue to weigh on the economy" but the plunging oil price is causing just as much, if not more, damage to one of the world's energy giants.

The price of a barrel of Brent crude has collapsed by more than 50pc since the middle of last year as Opec, the group of leading oil-producing nations, refused to cut production amid intense pressure from the US shale revolution.

This proves to me oil, metals, the stock market are all manipulated. Obama said to not get used to low gas prices. Oil is being tanked to wipe out Putin. I doubt he’ll got down peacefully.

Hopefully, he used up a lot of money and resources and military might in his last boondoggle.

If not, a cornered bear is NOT a good thing by any stretch...

Great article. I agree with it completely. Apparently so does Henry Kissinger.

The “bear” died decades ago, Russia is a shadow of it’s old military power.

War would merely quickly destroy the remaining Russian military and leave them unable to defend themselves against the East and internal secession.

Why would they do that, instead of simply lightening up and lay off the invasions, and get back to trade??

When the thieving globalist money changers finally put their focus on collapsing the USA dollar as the reserve currency, our day in economic hell is coming too.

Our problems began when those in the White House and Congress of both Parties put international interests ahead of the USA. They put us in debt. They rigged the system so that commies in China that road bikes and rickshaws were given our security, economy and our debt obligations. While we were sold out most Americans argued about foolish media propaganda and frivolities. It didn’t happen by accident.

From your link from Zerohedge:

"But consider the impact on Russia. From the Russian point of view, everything from their plunging ruble to bitter sanctions to the falling price of oil are the fault of the US, either directly or indirectly. Whether that is fair or not is irrelevant; that's the view of the Russians right now."

Russia is a kleptocracy with 100 percent corruption run by "former" KGB agents who have deliberately created a mafia state to maintain power over a population of mostly drunks and welfare dependents who aren't capable of creating an economy that isn't dependent on oil prices.

See this link from a Russian who escaped that hell hole:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/3189416/posts

An excerpt from the above thread:

"The population at large is, statistically speaking, not very bright. Many are deranged from overuse of alcohol or drugs. A big number are simply aging elderly rooted in USSR-centric mindset who never adjusted to the modern world. Most of them do not “work” in the sense we understand full-time employment here: they occupy placeholder positions sponsored by the government. Being dependent their whole life on government help, they are psychologically unable even to think government can do something wrong."

This is what happens after 5 generations of communism and unnatural selection where the best and the brightest are systematically murdered by a criminal regime.

Now returning to your Zero Hedge link:

"Based on the preponderance of evidence, its' clear to me that the West/US deserve the lion's share of the blame for the conflict that now rages with Ukraine and between Russia and the western world."

This guy is a retard who expects us not to notice that people were being beaten in the streets, kidnapped and tortured long before eeevil McCain showed up to supposedly bribe Ukrainians to revolt against their country. ZeroHedge even pushes the tired crap about "Neo-Nazis" running things and a military "coup," as if we're too stupid to notice that Yanukovych lost the entire support of even his own political party and the rest of the Ukrainian Rada after the mass shootings. The people who were in power was the Ukrainian rada elected in 2012, and the people in charge now are democratically elected.

Zero Hedge is a pile of crap publication that pushes Russian propaganda because they are so stupidly anti-American they don't take two minutes to think about what they read from Alex Jones or Russian television.

And as for Russia, giving excuses for the Moskals is no better than apologizing for the Islamists for shooting people in Paris. These are thugs and criminals who want to destroy America and establish their own crazy empires. The only solution is to fight them.

During the crises in 2008 Putin asked China to dump its Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac bonds. China refused.

If the Russian bear is pushed to the edge by the bankers and war profiteering sanctioners the outcome will not be good. We’ve be led to believe that economic sanctions are passive efforts intended to replace diplomacy. Wrong.. They are created by bankers but always perceived as acts of war, and they led us into WW2.

War with Russia is not war with Afghanistan or Iraq. It will’destroy life as we know it. This situation with Russia needs cooled down and the expansion of NATO that we promised Russia would not happen reversed. It was driven by international bankers wanting anarchy and profits from Syria to Ukraine.

Trust less of what the pols and MSM tells you, and more what your gut tells you is really happening.

The stupid thing about this is that NATO was drawing back militarily and was even offering Russia special status and favor with the alliance. The Russkies only complain about NATO so they can excuse their raping and murdering of other people.

The Russkie appeasers can all go to hell! They think that by retreating we will stop the Muscovites from wanting to make war against the West. They're stupid.

>expansion of NATO that we promised Russia would not happen reversed.

You have bought into Russian propaganda. If you don’t believe George H.W Bush saying there was no such promise then check with Russians. Even Gorbachev himself said there was no such promise. It is all tin foil stuff spread by Russians and Western lefties.

“The topic of “NATO expansion” was not discussed at all, and it wasn’t brought up in those years. I say this with full responsibility.”

— Gorbachev

Zero Hedge in my view has always given a more objective USA centric view of our foreign and economic policy than we will ever get out of most establishment MSM Wall St centric publications.

You may have forgotten how the Tea Party and most conservatives opposed bailing out Goldman and Morgan etc. Zero Hedge was created in 2009. It was exposing Wall St corruption and IRS auditing of the Tea Party, while the establishment Wall St Journal was telling us how QE worked for us.. I trust Zero Hedge much more than the establishment media propagandists.

Zero Hedge is a pile of crap and so are its readers. Just the other day I saw a bunch of those losers talking about the "Zionist World Order" in the comment thread on their articles, with nobody giving it a second thought. This is trash for StromFronters and Alex Jones conspiracy theorists to go all ga ga for, because they never fail to to be anti-American in all they do. These are not Tea Partiers. Tea Parties love their country. Zero Hedge hates it.
