What a no-good lug!

A vandal tried to sabotage cops in Brooklyn when he loosened the lug nuts from a police cruiser, officials said.

The menace also removed the lug nuts from the private vehicles of three cops in Bushwick, officials said.

All four cars were inside an NYPD parking area on DeKalb Ave. near Wyckoff Ave. when the sabotage took place, officials said.

The lug nuts were discovered missing or loosened on Tuesday morning, cops said. Police were still hunting for the perp Wednesday. . .

Seems like these creeps should be up for the death penalty or at least manslaughter charges

*Beat on the brat with a baseball bat.*

“Beat on the brat
Beat on the brat
Beat on the brat with a baseball bat
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh-oh.”

Good karaoke song!

“Hope they don’t watch American Graffiti. Then they would know about putting a length of aircraft cable between the rear axle and a fixed post. Ha haa that’s still funny!
This is something I wish the Mythbusters would try to replicate.”

Our daughter lives in Petaluma, CA where they filmed “American Graffiti,” sp we go there every year when the celebrate the film.
Last year was the twenty-fifth anniversary (I think) of the filming. The vacant lot where they filmed the “axle removal scene” is still vacant, so the city rounded up a 1961 Ford Sedan, had it appropriately painted, and restaged the scene for all of us to see. It was a hoot!
Also, the guy who owned (and still owns) the T-Bird that Suzanne Somers drove, showed up with the car. He told me that it was his wife’s car and while she had it parked downtown while she shopped, the producers put a note written on a brown paper bag (which he still has) asking if they could rent the car for their movie. Petaluma goes all in every year to herald the movie, and sometimes, some of the stars show up.

Ah Petaluma. I used to drive through it on the way to Bodega Bay beach. I never saw the AG scenery.

I like how they re-purposed the marble 1920s bank into an antique store today.

If it isn’t, its an accident waiting to happen.

This is no accident. This is attempted murder.
