TV host and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee says he is leaving his Fox News talk show as he considers whether to seek the Republican nomination for president, a decision he expects to reach in the spring.
Huckabee said Saturday night's edition of "Huckabee" would be his last as he ponders his political future. The weekly show, which is taped with a live audience and features political commentary as well as interviews with guests and musical entertainment, has been on the air for more than six years.
"There has been a great deal of speculation as to whether I would run for president. If I were willing to absolutely rule that out, I could keep doing this show. But I can't make such a declaration," he said on the show, according to a statement provided by his office.

I remember, and have not forgotten. That’s why I don’t take the bait now, when she speculates on doing another ‘dance of the 7000 veils’. She declared her non-run status on a very busy news day; the day Steve Jobs died. Around here in the Bay Area, that was all people spoke about for week, even though we could see his time was running out.
I figure we’ll see a dozen podiums on the stage for the first primary debate. The herd will be thinned some but when conservatives squandered the past 6 years an have no strategy, “divide and conquer” will split the R vote and allow the GOPe to get their chosen guy nominated.
We’ve seen this movie before.
I can already hear the cruel jokes about ‘Junior’s weight problem. If he runs, that tough RINO hide will come in handy.
Huckleberry is toast as soon as one of his Republican rivals reminds voters of his naively commuting sentences of felons when they declared they’d found Jesus, and then those felons went out and committed other crimes.
The last thing we need is a Republican Mike Dukakis.

Don’t worry about it, Huckabee doesn’t have a chance in hell.
I guess every vote counts.
Better yet she got Mark Levin to tell his listeners a month or so earlier that he thought that she was still going to announce a run and they believed it, and then she eventually appeared on his show to announce that she really wasn't going to.
Of course Levin appeared disappointed but fully supportive of her after here appearing to dupe him. After all she appeared on his show to 'explain it' (OH those death threats)
He gave no indication that he knew that she was never planning on running (2012). He just praised her,
Was he clueless or just dishonest?
And of course, the Huckster is too dumb to know he is being used as a tool of the left.
Poundstone the child molester? Sure; she’s got tons of credibility.
