I like your list. I agree that Cruz is better suited to being something like senate majority leader.
I like Pence, Kasich, and Martinez. I don’t really know enough about Snyder. I like Perry too but I don’t believe he would be a good candidate.
I do not think Cruz is a catholic. His father is a pastor although I can’t recall which denomination.
You left out Paul Ryan and Bobby Jindal.
