Barf alert! NYT gets weepy over cop-killer Ismaaiyl Brinsley
American Thinker ^ | January 3, 2015 | Thomas Lifson

He was a victim! The man who cold-bloodedly shot Officers Ramos and Liu gets a shocking amount of sympathy and understanding from the New York Times today. The three (!) writers assigned to the story, Kim Barker, Mosi Secret and Richard Fausset present us empathy as:

In reality, Mr. Brinsley’s short life was a series of disappointments.

He was the difficult teenager who was passed around from home to home, the adult who could make nothing work, not a T-shirt company, not even an attempt on his own life at a former girlfriend’s house.

Everyone seemed to betray him. The friends who pistol-whipped and robbed him in May. The girlfriend who dumped him around Thanksgiving.

In recent weeks, Mr. Brinsley was unraveling, increasingly desperate, the gap between the life he wanted at age 28 and the life he had looming ever larger. If he couldn’t get it together, he told the mother of his second child in early December, he would kill himself.

Not only was Brinsley a man worthy of pity, you can’t blame the left and the climate of anti-police hatred:

This article was so patronizing and disgusting. Brinsley was no victim. He was a scumbag who doesn’t deserve any words of praise. Liberalism. Schizophrenia. Manic Depression. PTSD. Anxiety Disorder. Every one of these are well known mental disorders.

So, he might fit into the prison for insane criminals.
It just might shake him up enough to decide to return to "sanity," that is, the ten commandments.

What does anybody expect? Its NYC. Two days after the recent cop murders I checked out the New York Daily News commentaries, and 50% of the public comments were that the police have it coming. “F” NYC. If the have another giant terrorist attack, I will just laugh. Screw’m.

Thanks to “The Great Society”, in the 13% of the population that is the least educated and least productive, wives and husbands have been replaced by “Babymommas and Babydaddies”.
Coming soon to the other 87% of the population.

Wait till they need a cop.

Wait till one of the Mohammedan or Black Panther rabble does to them what they do to everyone else they encounter.

No amount of pleading, “But we’re on your side,” will allay the blood lust in their tormentors’ hearts.

Abraham Lincoln said: Human action can be modified to some extent, but human nature cannot be changed.

We humans aren't any WORSE or better than we were in 1965, 1865 or 1865 B.C.
NOW, however, we get to read it, see it and hear about it 24/7...and there are now 7.125 BILLION of us. There were only 1 billion as of 1800.
I BET that the same percentage of crime was committed then as it is now. We DO get a taste of crime from the "Wanted Dear or Alive" posters from back then. I DID see all those westerns about bounty hunters. Many of those scumbags WERE brought to justice, even though the bounty hunters were generally NOT appreciated or liked.

GOOGLE: By 1800, however, world population had passed the 1 billion mark, and it has continued to grow since then to the current 7 billion.

Thomas Lifson (without the “e”) has written a piece worthy of a Pulitzer.

What bravery!

What drive to dig deep and capture the hidden heart of the matter without regard for his own personal safety.

Bravo!

The editors of the Times clearly live in Greenwich,New Canaan and Darien (suburbs on NYC that are among the richest towns on earth) and the likes of Ismaaiyl are dealt with swiftly and effectively by the local constabulary.
